I used my Countertop Ice Maker this past weekend for a get together. The party started at noon and I turned this on around 8:30am. Setup is super easy and the directions are helpful. Fill the water to the max line and choose if you would like large or small ice cubes. Not sure how small is small. I chose the large size and I would say they are about 1” long hollow cylinders. It takes 9 minutes to make 9 ice cubes. So make sure you plan in advance to have enough ice. I had it running for 3 hours before I had to fill with more water. And I also had to empty the basket inside when it was full with cubes. I just replaced the basket after it was emptied and pressed the power button and it started making the ice again. I think it's pretty convenient because I do not have an ice maker on my fridge on in my freezer!

I this ice maker is a god send. It works quickly and makes soft ice !! I eat ice cubes every single day. I fill my 30 oz tumbler at least twice. I LOVE ICE. My fridge ice maker sometimes couldn't keep up with my habits.. this machine def supports my ice appetite. It makes enough to fill my 30 oz tumbler with one basket. It shuts off once full. Then if the ice melts, it starts all over. The ice holds for about 2-4 hours before it starts melting together. This ice is so soft and chewy. I LOVEEEEE THAT. I just had two root canals.. oops. But this ice is super easy to munch on without having to grind and crunch. You can choose from small or large cubes. The cubes and dome shaped with a hollow center, the large cubes are just thicker. Operation is super easy. Plug in, add water, and you'll have ice within an hour. I have used this every single day since I've gotten it. EVERY DAY. I cannot rave enough. I wish I had this sooner. Recommend 1000000 times.

This is great for outdoors or if you do not have to an ice maker at home. It has a 1.7 liter water reservoir and make ice in about 6 minutes. If you are going to use it in you kitchen it has a water hook up. Its easy to use but it is a little heavy.

The ice maker on my fridge has not been working and the unit just went out of warranty. I was super excited to receive this. The timing was perfect. Upon receiving I reviewed the instructions after unpacking the box. (VERY simple instructions) As advertised, made ice very quickly. Not noisy at all! I use bottled spring water, as I prefer the taste. Took about a 1/2 gallon and roughly 8 minutes to make the first batch of ice. I didn't find this machine to be noisy at all! This is a solid machine that works well. It does what it is supposed to do without making a lot noise. I love the color and design if it. Thrilled to have received this. Love it and would definitely recommend any looking for a counter top ice maker to purchase this brand.

I would highly recommend this icemaker to anybody who is looking for an easy to use ice machine. It makes a lot of ice in a short period of time. The ice cubes come I'm two different sizes which makes it good for water bottles also. It is very fast and easy. I love it and I'm so excited to have it.

I absoutlely did not know I needed the deco chef electric ice maker until I got it! I have crappy tasting water so I have to buy clean water already and I have always have to buy ice, not anymore! I add my clean water to the ice maker and literally pour it in,--do nothing else--, close the lid,turn on power I already have it set how I like it. It takes approximately 6 minutes to make about 8 ice cubes, and about 40 mins to make a full little tray. This does not make enough ice for a party or anything like that but my family of 5, I make fresh ice starting every morning and we use stainsteel cups all of us and the ice holds majorty of the day so we are able to have enough ice all day for us even extra cups! The ice maker comes in different colors as well I got blue which I love!

Living for this ice maker. It seriously is amazing. If you live in an area like me, it will be a life saver. I live in a city that has really old water mains and with that comes lots of water main breaks so there is a lot of time where we have dirty water and I can't have a fridge that makes ice constantly because of it. This ice maker comes in handy and is really easy to use. I love that it makes both small ice cubes and large ice cubes depending on which one you'd like. The small cubes are excellent for fitting into water bottles if you like ice water. It works so fast, about 13 minutes for making ice so essentially you could fill with water to the fill line and then turn it on in the morning before work and have plenty of ice by the time you came home. I use bottled water for mine and it does recommend that you use room temp water or colder. You can see the ice forming on the prongs as it makes it. And it automatically drops the cubes and scoops them into the basket for easy removal.

Icemaker is very easy to operate. After filling water up to the line inside, it makes 2 quart size (large cubes) of ice. Love the ease and care of using it. It will display when the water level is empty as well as when the bin is full so you know when it is time to empty. I highly recommend this product.

We got this ice maker for an outdoor event that we were going to. It is not battery powered, you must have a somewhere to plug it in. The machine is fairly quiet, I could barely hear the fan running. When the ice is dropping, it just sounds like a regular ice maker. You can choose small or large ice cubes. I chose the small ones. It does take it a little while to fill all of the way up, but produces a small amount rather quickly. The product is very easy to use. I would recommend this product to others.

This portable ice maker is good for small get togethers but if you plan on having a larger crowd I suggest you start it hours ahead of time if you want enough ice. I thought it would make much more ice in a smaller timeframe. It's still quicker than freezing ice cubes yourself though. This would work very well in a camper or on a camping trip with an electrical source. The design is very nice and the machine looks very sleek and modern. It uses very little water and if you have any left there is a drain plug to release the extra water from the chamber. This is easy to run. You simply press the on button then select to choose either large or small pellets. I chose the small size. An ice scoop is included and the machine has a flip top lid giving you easy access to the ice basket.
