Decor Grates 4x10 Oriental Floor Register Vent Cover, Adjustable Airflow Control, Rubbed Bronze (AJH410-RB)

I bought this item for my son's bathroom as it has a bit of a masculine look. It fit perfectly and the brushed finish matches other hardware in the bathroom. The only thing that would make it better is if it had a little basket like the high-end ones do that catch any debris that falls through the holes in the register.

I bought a 4-pk of 4"x10" floor registers because they were much cheaper to buy in multiples, and I need 5 of this size. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting on the extra (more expensive) one. These are quite red in direct sunlight, almost copper looking, but they're perfect in indirect/artificial light with our brown-stain hardwoods. I like the open/close mechanism a lot; 2 sheets of perforated plastic slide over each other to align or overlap the slits. This seems much more reliable than the metal flaps on other vents, which can catch on carpet or rough opening edges. The tab for the mechanism looks a little flimsy, but I probably only adjust vents, at most, twice a year (with the seasons), so I'll just be careful!

These decorative floor registers are very nice quality and a great price. We bought one several years ago and it still looks brand new. So, when we needed more, we came right back to Walmart for them. The home improvement stores sell these for almost ten dollars MORE!

Matches floor grates I purchased for other rooms in house that were a smaller size..Price was cheaper at Walmart than at competitors for the same quality.

These registers are very cheaply made! I had to tape them in the open position, because they constantly closed, and I can only conclude this was happening as we walked by them making vibrations. They detatch very easily; come apart. The top detaches from the body of the vent. The positive is that they do look nice. The only reason I gave them a 2 rating is that they did ship fast.

The grate is beautiful. However, the description is deceptive. It is listed as an 8-pack, but I only received one. I want my other 7 grates, please.
