This flavor is no longer available anywhere in Missouri for some reason even though other flavors are. I have found this at other locations in most other states across the Country. As a truck driver it gets expensive having to order Express delivery while on the road!
Over the years I've moved away from frozen meals. Too processed. I eat this brand because it's delicious (if you love curry like me), inexpensive, and makes me feel very, very full all afternoon. Plus, all their flavors are NOT SO HOT that it burns your throat. I also recommend their butter chicken. For me, it's a winner.
Trader's Joe's veterans can rejoice. This is basically all the flavor of our beloved (but discontinued) Korma Fish Curry, just slightly milder and with chicken instead of fish. The same greats flavors are there and everything, from sauce to chicken to rice, taste high quality and fresh. My only issue is the price! Ouch! However, there is no doubt this is a quality meal and maybe in this economy and quality meal is worth a little extra (unfortunately).
I tried one of these last year after reading the ingredients. I like that they dont have all the artificial ingredients in them. Ive been buying them every since. I highly recommend!
My surprise was going from saying that it was odd but good to wanting more after I liked the container. Yes, I ordered more for the next time I want to have that pleasure ready for me.
Preparation of this product in the microwave is very easy. The flavor is strong but good. I do wish there was a little extra sauce and the kids do not like this flavor because they think it is “too strong but the adult adults are OK with that. Goes great with the salad.
This was my first venture into Indian Food. I love Coconut so when I saw your Coconut Chicken Curry I knew I had to try it. I almost gave it 3 stars but then I decided to give it 4 stars; . The entree itself was plentiful and appealing looking. The fragrant Curry was spot on. Unfortunately, I did not taste the Coconut, I'm hoping it was a fluke as I really enjoyed the rice and the Curry, so flavorful and fragrant. The chicken was OK. I did get a couple pieces of Gristle and some of the chicken pieces were a bit chewy. I admit, that I was quite satisfied after eating this entree and did not have room for Dessert. good flavor. is it worth over $5 no. portion is small. half the meal is rice, but it tastes good. if you feel like a splurge otherwise its not budget friendly, but tasty.
This might need to be recalled. There was aggressive overseasoning. It's so floral it was like eating in a perfume shop. It was horrible! This is NOT what Coconut Curry is supposed to taste like. This was bought and eaten ,well tried to eat, the same day in April 2026. It's a shame that it was inedible because the rice was very nice and the chicken was tender. Too bad the curry sauce ruined the dish. I'm hoping someone at the factory misread the amount of Cardamom and Cilantro that was supposed to be in the curry and this doesn't represent this company's Coconut curry.
My son absolutely loves this however, at least 2 out of six of these meals, the tray bottom is cracked before cooking and not edible. I wish they would stop using cheap plastic containers. Especially at $6 bucks a meal.
