Great Business Tool

Andrew June 22, 2026

I bought a defend 360 to overlook material and equipment storage on a worksite. The camera has been excellent for remotely monitoring my material stockpiles, and I have my dump trailer parked where I can monitor how full it is. I have also used it to track down a nail gun that was stolen when the guys left it out at lunch. I wasn't sure I needed it when I bought it, but it has paid for itself and allowed me to make logistics decisions based on real time updates from 50 miles away.

Great Camera

Jennifer B. August 11, 2026

I wish we had better service where we needed to install this. . . however the camera was easy to set up and works pretty well with the crappy cell service we have in our area. . . live view doesn't always work for us, but when we request a photo or a video we do get one! If we had better service I would buy another. The only thing I wish for would have been a better explanation of all the functions in the app so I would know what I was doing better. . .

Defend 360

Jacob C. July 16, 2026

My wife and I purchased land early this year. We have been working on building a house on it. I installed the Defend 360 to watch who comes in and out. The setup was very simple and easy. The solar panel has kept it charged even through tough weather. As equipment comes in and out, I sometimes enjoy switching to live view to watch everything in real time. The feed is so smooth, I can adjust the camera without a huge delay to scan the property. It works so smoothly; my dad bought 2 for his property and 1 to watch a hog trap. He is a believer now. He also finally got rid of his old (other brand) trail cams and purchased reveals. I can't wait to make progress on our house so I can get another 360 to put out.

360 reviews

Jay T. April 21, 2026

So far I’m not that impressed. Setup, plan upgrades were a hassle. Wording in the online app not always clear. I thought I’d have a 360 view at all time but that’s not the case. add were not clear. You only get pictures were camera is left. it’s ok but a little pricey for what you get. good news is the phone reps are all good to work with and they speak Plain English

1 of the worst apps i have ever tried to use

Alex L. June 26, 2026

If the app would let you navigate I think it would be a good camera. I ve had it for about 30 days now. 1 it has an event calendar which when you open the app it my or my not let you go to it. it opens frozen most of the time. And when it freezes the only thing I've been able to figure is close it and wait a little while and open it again. Some times this works. If it doesn't work get in the truck and drive to the property to check on it. When it freezes the back arrow does not work. It does NOT let you go to the latest pic. It opens on the last one you opnened. I have not found away to get it to consistently update to the latest pic. Yesterday when I looked at the link on the phone it showed 3 new pics. The app opened frozen. I was looking at the check in pic from the day before. It would not let me see the 3 pics. It let me go to the live view but would not let me see the 3 pics. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it again and it updated. It turned out to be a deer. Im ordering a camera from somebody else tonight. I need it to work all the time not just when the app decides to work. BTW I have 2 reveal game cameras and love them. They work great and have a searchable gallery 1 More thing, good luck figuring out how to name the camera and its location. Took me about 24 hours with no support. Who ever wrote the instructions really needs a dictionary. It comes with a quick start guide and that's all the manual you are getting.

Definitely not what I expected

Vargas R. August 2, 2026

Set up was super easy and cellular service was great at our place in South Texas. Plans are to high if you want decent security coverage. I cannot find anywhere on this app where I'd like to add another phone line. We have two cameras. One in our equipment barn and one on a feeder. Only gotten few pics from the feeder and none from my barn, that I literally walk in to get in my tractor pull out and into and it has yet to send me a pic. Live view works but what good is that if it doesn't trigger. We will be moving out here in a couple months and I'd like to ad my wife's line like our reo link accounts so she can have access to security cameras, but can't. Picture quality is not that great especially at night. I have one camera set 15' from the feeder with tons of critters showing up all morning, evening and night. Hardly get any pictures and the ones I do get are grainy if I get any at all. I have driven past this feeder many times and it has yet to capture me passing no matter what the sensitivity level is set at. What a let down with all the hype and advertisements about what this camera is or supposed to be. We have parked and watched one camera with multiple deer and turkey at it for over an hour and not got one pic of an animal but when you switch to live cam “walah” there they are. I wouldn't trust it to watch over chickens much less all our equipment. I will continue to use them for the year as both these cameras subscriptions have been paid for but I will not renew and be going back to REO link. Here's what the night pics look like, and a day pic for distance from the feeder reference from the couple pics I did receive.

After having the camera up

Brian S. April 29, 2026

After having the camera up for a couple weeks on my driveway, it is evident that the trigger distance on the defend 360, is no where near that of the Reveal 2. 0. Also, it very rarely catches us going out in the mornings. 3 vehicles go out between 6:30 & 8:30, and it never takes a picture of us. After about 9:30am, it seems to do fine. We should have stuck with the regular Gen 2. 0 camera.

Not impressed

Curtis C. July 14, 2026

I have 5 Reveal cameras around my property and this is the first Defend 360 camera I bought. I've had it about 6 weeks now. I am not impressed at all with the camera. It is located in my driveway, roughly a 1/4 of the vehicles that come down my driveway is missed on taking pics. I've moved it around and it still hasn't improved the issue. I will not be buying another one and will stick to the Reveal cameras. I will replacing it soon. Do not waste your money if you're just wanting to try something new.

For a very particular setting

Brie May 22, 2026

Only recommend if you can suspend on a beam a minimum of 20ft over a completely barren space. Pixel movement triggers a photo, no intelligent optimization or way to set activity zones so a fern in the wind will cause a spam notification frenzy. Capture delay is so long it only records after I have passed through the field of view. Incredibly frustrating to mount on base- lock twist is hidden and shallow and tedious to find and set. View is so close up, distance and height are key because of the pixel change trigger Mic is useless in the faintest breeze Sharing doesn’t really “share” Setup didn’t recognize the camera for over 5 hrs Out of date, poorly engineered mount, very very specific use. I’m baffled by the high rating.

Does not turn & freezes

Oscar May 29, 2026

When I noticed someone walking into my property and they were on the right side of the camera, when I wanted to turn to view them it did not let me move the camera to see what they were doing. I got the 360 camera for that reason to be able to move it wherever live, but very disappointed & now that I got a notification of someone walking in, it does not let me view it live. I’ve been stuck waiting for 10 minutes and it’s been stuck on the same screen. I’ve swiped out of the app and refreshed it and still loading. It is not the first time that it has happened to me unfortunately.
