Degree Men Time Released Deodorant, Cool Rush 3 oz (Pack of 4)

While a lot of folks are focused in the change in smell, what really burns me is how the new, softer formula has quickly ruined a number of my shirts. It adheres to the fabric, discoloring it and giving it an almost waxy feel. I've tried washing my shirts in cold water and using stain sprays, but those don't remove the stains. In 15+ years with the old formula, I never had any issues.

I have been using Degree Cool Rush deodorant for years. I don't remember the last time I used a different deodorant. This goes for all of the men in my family. Recently I noticed a strange scent after using the Cool Rush deodorant I purchased. The smell was overpowering and very feminine. It honesty made me a little sick. I thought it was other people around me and I began to discreetly sniff around like some kind of poorly trained blood hound. After hours of sniffing and this awful smell following me, I was shocked to find that the awful smell was my deodorant. I suffered through the day, kind of embarrassed and after work I ran to the store and bought a different brand for the rest of the week. First time I've browsed deodorants since I was probably in my teens. I did some research and found that Cool Rush deodorant has completely changed and not for the better. My wife told me that I couldn't use cool rush anymore. She says I smell like a citronella candle and am only good for deterring mosquitoes. My brothers think it smells like everything from flowers to squished lady bugs and they are on the hunt for a new deodorant as well. My father was the only one too stubborn to stop using the deodorant, but after a coworker asked him if he was wearing his wifes perfume and he began to be teased by his factory coworkers, he has changed his mind. We have all been very loyal customers of degree for as long as I can remember. I hope that the original cool rush scent is restored because if not, we will be permanently switching companies for our new go to deodorant.

I would leave a negative star review if possible. The new scent of cool rush is awful. Please stop gaslighting people and telling us it hasn't changed. I've used this deodorant for over 20 yrs. My wife and I both notice it very different. It's much stronger, more floral and tropical smelling. I hate it. Bring back the old scent. I'm starting to look for a new scent. I hope this change seriously hurts the company's revenue.

I have to say it too. Whatever you changed has made this product unusable. The smell is similar but the intensity is off the charts. It's repugnant. I even compared it to an older stick just to be sure. I had seriously used this product for over 20 years and now I feel like I have to find a replacement. Please, please change it back.

Degree changed the Cool Rush scent and it's awful. The original scent was subtle and fresh and the new scent smell like garbage Axe body spray. If I wanted that scent, I would buy Axe. Why not create a new scent and leave the old one alone? The antiperspirant quality and that it doesn't irritate my skin. I will have to look for a different scent now. If there are any suggestions out there, please share.

I have used this scent for years and like others I notices the scent changed and it was terrible. I thought it was a bad batch so I waited a few weeks and realized it had been changed. This new scent is so bad and I will have to switch to something different. I dont know why you guys would change the scent from what it was to this terrible smell.

Whatever change has been made recently to the formula or scent has ruined this product. The new scent or formula is overpowering and disgusting. I'm in a crisis. This company decided to change the scent of Cool Rush without notifying the consumer that it is not the same scent and then are gaslighting us into thinking it's the same. Giving us a response of but from time to time they change product... blah blah blah. This is like Coke putting root beer in it's cans instead and saying nothing about it on the bottle. Everyone behind this product scent change should be fired. I will never come back to Degree until the Cool Rush is changed back. Bye!

The result? Instant regret and a mild gag reflex. This scent is so overpowering, I'm convinced it could double as bear repellent. I never thought I'd say this about a deodorant, but I miss the days when I could confidently lift my arms without smelling like a disastrous fusion of the past and a synthetic future. I have used Cool Rush for probably over 20 years. The scent or formula has changed. It is so strong it is unbearable. My wife told me right away she could tell a difference . I am over 50 and I don't need to be heavily scented like a teanager with ax body spray. I guess I need to find a new deodorant brand. Degree lost a loyal customer unless they change back.
