Del Mar 50121 Mens 200 Meter Classic Nautical Flags Two Tone

I wasn't looking for a smart watch that could talk to my phone, have Bluetooth capability or anything like that, I just wanted a basic, good looking (old school) watch to wear out on the water because my Nixon October Tide must go back to California for repair/replacement. A local jeweler informed me the casing was rusted shut when he attempted to replace the battery. :-( It's reasonable to say we are on the water a lot. I've never owned a Del Mar watch but was drawn to the style, analog movement, and attractive nautical flag faceplate of this watch. The watch is very comfortable on my wrist and not extremely heavy. It has a waterproof rating of approximately 20 ft depth and so far no problems wearing it fishing or snorkeling. The manufacturer does recommend rinsing the watch after exposing it to saltwater and not exposing it to extreme hot water temperatures such as a hot tub or shower. I always rinse mine now, lesson learned. Del Mar offers several varieties of this watch, the first one I purchased was silver only. (First pic) I loved it so much I bought a second for my lady, the two tone. It looks great with her stack, and she loves to wear it. Priced just over $100, this watch is a very wearable time piece and would make for a nice gift. I was very impressed with the packaging it arrived in. I would certainly buy another one.
