I really enjoyed the refreshing mixed fruit sangria flavored fruit cup from Del Monte. I shared some with my granddaughter who liked it also, especially the peaches. It made a great portable snack while running errands. The fruit was soft but not mushy and the syrup sweetness was just right. I recommend this fruit cup and am happy to have gotten a chance to try it at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
I recently tried the Del Monte Escapes Mixed Fruit Sangria and found it very good, with a lot of decent sized chunks of fruit and juice that was not overly sweet. I mixed some of the fruit with cottage cheese for my lunch, then later in the afternoon, I had the rest by itself as an afternoon snack. The fruit was chunky, not too soft, and tasted delicious. I had put it in the refrigerator so it was nice and cold when I used it. I definitely will add these to my snacks for something sweet. I found the Del Monte Escapes Mixed Fruit Sangria to be very refreshing. I found the mixed fruit to be enhanced by the juices of the sangria flavoring. The packaging was very appealing and transparent. The cups were not the small ones, they were 7oz and come in a two pack. I was able to take it with me and enjoy a nice snack while out running my errands. Very tasty and convenient.
I loved the chunks of real mango covered in the strawberry lime syrup for a unique flavor combination. The syrup is a lot lighter than other fruit cups which I also love because it tastes more natural. This is also Non-gmo, has no artificial sweeteners, and is a great source of vitamin C. These fruit cups are easy to eat on the go. The only downside is that all of this awesomeness means they cost more than other fruit cups. This reminds me of an elevated version of my childhood favorite canned fruit cocktail. The fruit is sweet and the perfect texture and the juice is delicious to drink from the cup or pour into a separate cup to make a tasty mock tail or cocktail. They are great for a snack at home, work or on the go. My children love sharing them with me. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
These Del Monte Mixed Fruit Sangria fruit cups are some of the best I've tried—fresh, not too sweet, and full of real fruit in a light syrup. I love that they're Non-GMO, free of artificial ingredients, and a good source of vitamin C. The packaging can be a bit tricky, but overall, they're a delicious, wholesome snack I feel good sharing. I enjoyed the adult, fun twist on the classic fruit cups from Del Monte, particularly with the Sangria-flavored "escape" with no alcohol. However, I found the fruit cups to be really too sweet to enjoy on their own as the syrup drenching the fruit was too overpowering for my taste. I tried the second cup with some ice, coconut water, and cinnamon (to cut the sweetness a bit) to make a little smoothie and see if the texture and sweetness would be more pleasant. The smoothie idea made the overall flavor better, but the sweetness was still very powerful. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
Mixed fruit flavors rarely impress me, this was on the same lines. The product itself was good and I liked the quality too. I would not have it often as a snack, but it is a great option for cocktails or mocktails. This brings me to the quality - 2 packs which are equivalent to a cup, which was really great and handy. I was really worried about the food coloring, but when I saw it was colored with vegetable juice I felt more at ease. The taste was good, but I was also concerned when I saw the expiration date. June 25th, 2026. That made me wonder about the preservatives and additives within these. I didn't feel comfortable drinking the juice, and maybe that's just me being over cautious. I've been getting away from dye colored foods, drinks, etc, manly because of my friend from England, where an estimated 40,000 items we sell here isn't allowed in the UK. Keep in mind, I did like the fact this does not have dye in it, but I'd rather the juice be clear and almost a year expiration is because of preservatives. I feel more comfortable with the Del Monte Pineapple Pina Colada, than the Del Monte Escapes Mixed Fruit Sangria. The taste was good, the texture was good and from most of what is on the shelf these days I'd pick this over other fruit cocktails in plastic containers, I'm just trying to be more careful being a multiple times cancer survivor and the warnings others have given me in the changes they made in what they eat. Again, let me surmise. I like the taste, texture...but the look, red colored juice that turns every thing red in the cup and the preservatives that make this good for a year from purchase I don't like. I was paid for my honest testimonial/review of this item.
This Del Monte® Escapes Mixed Fruit Sangria is very sangria-like which was a point in its favor, as sangria is one of my favorite beverages. However, although it does use natural ingredients, another point in its favor; one of those happens to be Carmine (it's disclosed) so be careful if you have a sensitivity or allergy to such. This product seems to have a high acidity that may loosen the product seal as one of the cups was unglued and opened upon arrival (delivery order) which I initially thought was a delivery mishap, until I purchased a secondary product and had one of the 2 cups replacement do the same while sitting on the shelf of my kitchen pantry. Thus, it would seem to be an issue with the particular flavor. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
