This egg salad sandwich will surprise you. My husband is a fairly picky sandwich eater, tried this very cautiously, and now asks for 2 each week. He says the sandwich is flavorful, moist and satisfying. To his surprise, he still likes it even if it's been in the fridge for over a week. If, like us, you occasionally have to grab a meal in an instant and go, this with a piece of fruit will please you without any suffering involved. The chicken salad with cranberries sandwich is equally good. Don't know how we were lucky enough to have the inspiration to try them -- just delighted that they're so good
The egg in the sandwich is tasty and healthy. Eggs give you protein. I would prefer whole wheat bread. The white bread if it has some thickness is okay for white bread. The white bread is more squishy. Make it with whole wheat and then the bread doesn't tend to get soggy and a big plus it would have more nutrition. I buy the egg sandwich all the time. Try one today!
The Egg Salad is good, but it was a little dry tasting. I use Honey Mustard in my Egg Salad to make it taste better and everyone loves it when I make it that way. That's my suggestion. Also, if you could make some on Wheat Bread bcuz some people don't always like White Bread.
This was a bad choice. The bread was damp. The egg salsd was tasteless. It badly needed salt and peper and a touch of mustard. Very bland as is. Come on, how hard is it to make egg salad. I would have made my own but since my stroke, I have a mostly useless arm so can't hold the bowl and stir it. I thought maybe this would be a easy choice. Very disappointing. Worst sandwich that I ever bought.
anything pre-packaged is typically decent BUT I'm sad to say the bread was the best part of this egg salad sandwich. the white bread tasted fresh, soft and even smelled great. HOWEVER, the yellow filling resembled more like a spread instead of a yummy creamy bits of egg salad.
Tasted HORRIBLE !!!!!!!!!!!!! and im not picky but that had a wierd taste and there wasnt that much egg salad on it but not that bad, but taste was BAD !!!!! I MEAN I DID EAT IT ... IT WASNT SPOILED, BUT WAS THE WORST EGG SALAD I EVER HAD !!!!
it's called an egg salad sandwich. that's not an egg salad sandwich that's an egg sandwich. that's the worst sandwich I've ever eaten. I'll now be shopping at Target! that's not the only prepared food I've bought from Walmart before. every time I purchase prepared food it's almost inedible. whose dog do you have cooking or preparing the food?
The sandwich had the most horrible flavor for egg salad I've ever tasted. It was too sweet. It was too creamy. There was no mayo or onion or salt or pepper. It was nasty. You couldn't even taste the eggs. It was just a bunch of sweet whatever it was not good. I'm sorry that was just not the egg salad I was looking for.
First is the false advertising. Picture shows a healthy portion of egg salad where as you are only given a small dab in the center of the bread. That probably is a good thing because the egg salad tasted crappy. The bread was doey and over powered the egg salad. I don't understand why Walmart would allow this product on their shelves.
The sandwich doesn't look like the picture. It's on white bread, and even though I see plenty of egg in the sandwich, I'm not tasting it. The egg inside looks like it was cut up messily, and there's no "salad" in the sandwich. In order to make it taste like egg SALAD, I'm going to have to add shredded carrots, tomatoes and mayo. I will never order this sandwich again. If I could give it zero stars, I would.
