I needed more space on my desk for writing materials, documents, etc. Always had limited space because my computer was a laptop. I ordered a Dell Tower and needed a remote keyboard and mouse to free up desk space. This keyboard is perfect with it's low profile and size. I have more desk space now and it is great!
My new Alienware Game Computer (my third) came with a wired mouse and keyboard. My last Alienware computer lasted 5 years and is still running strong for a grandson. I updated with a wireless keyboard and mouse using the Rewards program. I have purchased from Dell since my XLS game machine (that still runs FarCry4 smoothly).
well I have a Dell computer and of course I had to have a Dell wireless keyboard and mouse I found it here at Walmart for much cheaper price than the Dell website great deal I'm happy
Everything works great now. I needed a new mouse but not a new keyboard. I had to buy both to get the mouse replacement. It would be nice to only have to buy the item needed. Less cost, less recycle, etc. There should be an easy way to make them compatible with one another.
I really like this keyboard then only weird thing is that to erased a whole sentence using back button it only has to be done by clicking one by one, other than that it's pretty cool.
Keyboard / mouse are fine but they were only added to my new Awesome Alienware computer to replace corded ones with wireless ones. Why not ask me about the best part of the total purchase? I just spent over $2,000. on the ultimate Gaming computer from Dell. The Alienware 1250 with a Big HD, better Nvidia card, Extra RAM, Liquid cooling, and a 20 core CPU. I love it and am glad I now also have Windows 11. My last 3 computers have been DELL. I am a loyal customer.
The layout, size and connectivity of this keyboard is fine, but the keys are extremely heavy to depress - which makes it very difficult to type. My entire creative process is broken because I am too pre-occupied with the amount of effort it takes to press the keys. I would like to get in touch with someone at Dell to see if there is a better alternative.
I'm a work from home subcontractor. I use my dell kbm for mostly business purposes. I was having issues w my old Logitech kbm combo and had fond memories of an old Dell kb, though I'd give a new Dell a try. The Dell kbm combo are pretty basic functional tools, nothing special. What I liked about the old Dell kb was the firm feel and travel - a good kb. This one, very little travel or resistance. I'll get used to it. Anytime I say "I'll get used to it," feels like a bit of a compromise, hence the three stars. It's okay, not bad.
We purchased this set in march and had to replace again in december of the same year. Mouse would work fine but the keyboard died immediately. We tried new batteries, new ports for the USB and still wouldnt work. The keyboard was also only used part time for our staff so should not have died as wuickly as it did. We thought was a fluke so ordered a second one and that one did the same thing. Very unfortunate as we have mice that work but keyboards that dont. Seems like such a waste.
I bought this online 5 months ago and it's not working anymore and of course Walmart won't receive, exchange it or refund it. So I am a lost with this item. Very disappointed with Dell to say the least.
