Dell Optiplex 5040 Desktop, Intel i7-6th Gen, 32GB RAM, 250GB SSD, Windows 10 Pro

Item took longer than expected to arrive, but these computers run fast because they strip most of the fluff that other providers add in, slowing your computer down.

Just received shipment. Have not opened yet.

I could not get the computer to work. Appears the computer is password protected for some organization or school. It asked for an email when setting it up and then did not recognize my email.

As soon as we got it, it would randomly restart while it was on. Then the screen went black. Customer Service BTG Support suggested I unplug it and plug it back in then go to settings and do several things. Impossible with a black screen while the computer was on. My son and I fixed it. It still randomly restarts while on, now it goes to a blue screen that offers me a few F1- F5 options, reboot, to run diagnostics. Run Diagnostics and it says no errors. Last week it did it again and couldn't actually find the hard drive. We had to fix it. BTG suggested we get a flash drive, download Windows 10 and reinstall it. THAT'S IT!!! Nothing else. They suck! Their computers suck and don't work and god forbid you actually need technical assistance. I don't even think they know anything about computers at all.
