The grind is perfect and the kitchen smells like a roaster!
Bought one of these about 10 years ago and it ground my coffee well every day for those 10 years. It stopped working a few weeks ago and I was happy to see that Delonghi still makes the exact same model so I ordered another one. The grind was consistent the whole time with minimal upkeep needed. Really well made. Would recommend.
Perfect grinder, I'm happy with purchase. I would suggest if you need a grinder or a second one get this one.
Coffee grinder not cheep, but you get what you pay for, I have only had it for two weeks, but it works just fine. I wish it would hold more beans, I have to fill it every second use, making 8 cups at a time, but I am not sorry I bought it.
Best burr coffee grinder i have ever used. For the best cup of coffee you will ever drink the KG89 burr coffee grinder is the place to start.
I've had one of these for five years now and I've never had a problem with it. The only thing I wish I can get was an extra plastic receptacle as mine has become chipped over years of use.
Great budget grinder however even the finest setting is too coarse for espresso. When I called the customer service to see if this can be fixed, they looked at the ground coffee over one way video and confirmed that the finest setting is fine enough and if I didn't like it than it's down to customer preference. I guess they have a very high resolution video to be this certain…
The grinder works fine for everything except espresso. It cannot grind fine enough for a non-pressurized basket. I bought this as a replacement to a manual grinder for espresso and now only use it to grind for cold brew or French press.
I need a coarse grind for my coffee, but this thing just smashes up the beans. Ruins the taste. Don't bother buying this machine.
This device is an embarrassment to the DeLonghi brand. I bought this device yesterday to use with my DeLonghi espresso machine, we grind our own coffee and the grinding is terrible, it is not possible to adjust the fineness to the point of making a decent espresso, the coffee is simply too coarse regardless of the fineness knob being at maximum. I am really disappointed and will probably never buy anything from DeLonghi again.
