Delonghi Magnifica Evo Coffee and Espresso Machine

I dearly love my new Magnifico Evo Expresso Machine and the great tasting coffee it gives me. Thank-you so much!

Has many options for different drinks and allows you to adjust based on taste. A big plus was to also have the pre-ground coffee hopper and whole bean with grinder.

Have had my machine almost a month and so far i love it. It took me a while to get the settings as i like them and get a routine for how i make my brews but now i'm set and love my morning cuppa(s). I do wish the water reserve was a little bit larger but that's not a show stopper. I have not had to clean the infuser or descale it yet so i cannot comment on those procedures yet. but so far, i love the machine.

Amazing upgrade to our daily coffee thanks to this machine. Read quick start guide as suggested after unboxing and really great results from the first cup. Has far exceeded our expectations since this is an entry level automatic espresso machine.

I've been using Delonghi for over a decade now and the Evo is my new favorite! I drink my coffee black so I didn't need the milk frother. The "long" option is probably my favorite if I don't need the extra kick of espresso. It's impressively smooth and creamy. Amazing.

This is my second DeLonghi machine, the first being a magnifica as well. I really like how much cleaner this one stays - the older was very messy. The coffee is very good as well, and it is ready to go faster than the old one. I do prefer the screen with words on my old machine (that tells you when to add water, empty the grounds, etc.) rather than the indecipherable pictures on the new machine, but it's ok. The force of the milk steamer, however, is not ok. It is not nearly as strong as my old machine's steamer. It is very difficult to make enough foam for a latte, much less a cappuccino, which leaves me disappointed every morning. I have tried steaming by removing the steamer tube as well to get the milk closer to the flow, but it doesn't really help. Steaming it longer doesn't help either. It's the force that is lacking.

Easy to use. Make excellent coffee, espresso, and cappuccino.

I just replaced my old DeLonghi coffee maker with the Magnifica EVO. The coffee is great but the instructions are terrible! I would much rather have instructions with words than with pictures. And the Need help? Scan here sticker brings you to an error page. I've had the machine for less than a month and I already have to descale it, much sooner than the previous machine. But the pictures for descaling are unhelpful. I got to 24 and wasn't sure how long to wait until moving on to 25. Still not sure. And picture 26 is identical to 27. And I can't ask anyone because it's the weekend. And if I am not able to make my coffee tomorrow I will not be happy. Guess I'll have to waste a lot of time searching for any YouTube videos that might explain the descaling process. Do better DeLonghi.

I own a prior version of this machine, used at my second home. The new Evo version worked ok at first, but after several uses is now very slow to brew a cup.
