DeLonghi Magnifica XS Fully Automatic Espresso and Cappuccino Machine with Manual Cappuccino System

I used to be a one cup of coffee a day girl but I love this coffee maker so much that I have at least 2 cups in the morning and a vanilla latte or mocha in the afternoon. No more Starbucks for me - I can make it all at home now.

Makes excellent expressos, lattes and regular coffee with a touch of a button. Milk frothing is on the weak side. I heat milk in the microwave instead. Easier, quicker with less mess using a handheld frother instead. If you make 10-16 expressos a day. Expect to clean the grinds holder and refill the water reservoir daily. It comes with a water filter for those with just tap water. All in all it competes with machines twice its price. Making perfect tasting expresso or lattes or single serve regular “long” coffee. With whole beans or individual servings of ground using a dial for strength. I prefer very strong. Get high quality beans such as Dark French Roast and you will scoff at coffee from Starbucks. I've only had it a couple weeks. Let's see how long it lasts. I wish I would of bought the extended warranty just in case. It self cleans before each use and 3 hours later before going into standby. You can adjust the standby time to your preference. BTW most people are not aware that Dark Roast has less caffeine than lighter roasts. The longer the roast the less caffeine but deeper richer flavor. For more insight search the model on YouTube.

Wonderful machine. Easy to operate and maintain. Tells you what to do to manage it. The coffee results are like going to enjoy the best from a Barista! We love this investment.

This is the best investment we've ever made. It's made our Keurig obsolete. It's sleek, simple, fast, easy, and the coffee is AMAZING. I was initially hesitant about the price, but it's absolutely worth every penny.

This coffee maker is perfection. After many years of service, our last DeLonghi gave up the ship and it was a sad day indeed. We purchased this Magnifica XS and really like this one even better. Puts out a great cup of espresso with the push of a button. I would by it again in a heartbeat.

This expresso machine is perfect for me. I did not want to purchase another large and bulky machine and this one is the right size. It is easy to use and looks great in my white kitchen. I specifically wanted a silver machine and am so happy I found this one.

I had a DeLonghi Magnifica that I used from 2009 and it finally died in 2022. Got Magnifica XS to replace. Smaller footprint, pretty. Maybe it just takes time to get used to something new. It makes good foam. I'm not 100% sure I will keep it. Doesn't hold as many beans, cup warmer doesn't seem to get warm at all, seems like the espresso shots are pretty short and not as strong even with the dial turned all the way up. Doesn't hold as much water. Don't get me wrong, I like the machine but I just liked my old machine better.

Love this coffee maker, makes great cafe style coffee, easy to use, but the steamer doesn't steam it spews out very hot water. Might be the spout, because the water is scolding hot just not steaming. Other than that it's great.

While this machines makes a good espresso, it is a lot of maintenance. Bean and water storage is very small so it's a constant refill of each. The storage for ground beans also indicates full and it's not, thus having to empty it way too often. For the price, I'm not super thrilled with this machine.
