De'Longhi Rapid Crisp 5-Quart Air Fryer in Black

I love that it has a 360 degree window so I am able to look at the progress of what I am cooking without needing to constantly open it to check on my food. I love that it has a push button to open the lid and that the handle folds down on the front of the fryer. This is an absolute excellent air fryer. I love that I am able to get the same crispy food without all of the oil and grease that deep fryers have. I have made home made tortilla chips, chicken wings, home made fries, mozzarella sticks and many other items. They all come our crispy and delicious! This air fryer cooks wonderfully! The first time I made chicken wings it took a lot longer than I was expecting. I loaded too many in the bucket and they weren't able to get done fast. Once I removed some of the wings they cooked a lot faster. The key is to not overstuff it. Every time I use this air fryer it surprises me more! I invited my parents for dinner and we forgot to make french fries. I pulled out the air fryer and they cooked within 8 minutes. My parents were so impressed and couldn't believe how crispy the fries were and how fast it cooked them. I absolutely love it and am so thankful that I was given this air fryer to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel!

This is our first air fryer. What seems to separate it from other air fryers on the market is the addition of a bottom heating element. The other fryers we looked at only have a top element and the fan that swirls the heat. Therefore an inner basket is not needed to get the bottoms of the food to brown. You can turn off the bottom element if you don't need it. Cooks salmon fillets to perfection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this air fryer from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I liked how crispy it cooked the food. I enjoyed making chicken wings , hot dogs, fries, turkey melts just to name a few. My husband loved how easy it was to cook food in. Most entrees can cook for about 15 minutes but you have to watch it closely. It can cook some items fast such as frozen fries and your left with an almost burnt entree if you don't watch it closely. It doesn't benefit to use the fry setting as it burned my fries a couple times. I love how easy it is to clean the pan since it is nonstick. I didn't benefit from the 360 view feature at all. It was much easier to pause the air fryer and open it up to check my food. It would be nice if the window was on the side of the air fryer vs the top as i would need a step stool to use the current window design. I didn't like that i had to add oil to cook some meals such as the chicken. I have used other air fryers before and never had to add oil to get the same crispy effect. Overall it's a nice air fryer but not my preference.

The De'Longhi Air Fryer has a big basket making it ideal for my 5 person family. It also has a convenient clear viewing window. The handle to the basket folds down for easy storage when not in use and cleaning the basket is a dream. When I make chicken nuggets for the kids I can throw the nuggets and fries into the basket together and they cook perfectly. I have made regular meals for my husband and I as well, we have made stuffed chicken breast, regular chicken breast, and fillets of beef. We even tried baking cookies in it, they were quite tasty. The food cooks in half the time compared to an oven and I love how you can see the food cooking through the viewing window. Overall we love the fryer but wish you could set the exact temperature and that it came with more recipes. I received the De'Longhi Air Fryer as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the DeLonghi air fryer for a few months now. Overall I enjoy using it. It's easy to operate and it cooks well. What I love about the DeLonghi air fryer is that it has a wider bin to cook more food in. The other air fryer that I have has a basket which is nice but it's a smaller circumference so I can only cook maybe two chicken breasts, compared to the DeLonghi air fryer where I can cook 3 to 4 depending on the size. I do enjoy the handle that goes up or down with a button, which helps with making it more compact for storage. This model is bigger than my other one, so I appreciate any way that I can store it more effectively. The DeLonghi Air Fryer also has a window to see your food cooking, I find this feature only minimally helpful. I still find myself opening up the air fryer when food is cooking to check the progress. The other thing that I like about this model is the pre-set cook times and temps. I don't always use them exactly for what they state, but it gives me a good idea of the range I should cook at. For example if I'm making home fries, I'll select the french fry option and go from there. One thing I wish I could change about this air fryer is that instead of having the gradual bars as the temperature I'd rather have the temperature in degree format with either Celsius or Fahrenheit. I definitely recommend this air fryer. I thought I would use it less than I do. It's become my preferred air fryer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd try at an air fryer (all different brands). The first one was cheap and just didn't last very long. The second one I spent a little more money on, but the basket just wasn't big enough. I was fortunate enough to receive this @delonghi.na air fryer as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it did not disappoint! The basket is perfect size for feeding 4 people, the buttons are very intuitive, and I like being able to peek in on my food without having to open the drawer! My only complaint is that I would prefer the part that holds the food to be more basket like at the bottom so that air flow can be slightly better. With it being a solid bottom, you always have to flip the food over to make sure both sides get crispy. Not a huge inconvenience, and would not deter me from buying (since this air fryer has been very reliable for me for about 3x per week for the past 5 months), but just a small way it could be improved. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love this De'Longhi air fryer! We received this air fryer for free as Part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This air fryer is extremely easy to use. A few items that set this apart from our current air fryer was the collapsable handle, auto open, digital display, and see through cooking window. The first meal we tried was fish with brussel sprouts. The fish was perfectly cooked and the brussels were crisp and not squishy; which is almost impossible in our oven and current air fryer. We even tried steaks; they were perfectly cooked and very juicy! The shape of the pan and the amazing non-stick coating leaves this conducive to future baked goods as well. The air fryer is also easy to clean.-- 1 part to wash only!  This is essential for us as we only have about an hour window for dinner hour before our kid needs to be in bed. The De'Longhi air fryer has replaced our current air fryer. If we had anything negative to say about the De'Longhi air fryer, it would be a wish for another button or more clarity on the buttons that are there now on the air fryer itself. The handbook offers a list of foods for each button, but It would be nice to see a button for fish or fried goods such as okra/chicken nuggets etc. It would be also be handy if this air fryer offered a removable drain off as well for greasier foods such as burgers or wings. However, once you figure out the correct settings from the book. This air fryer cooks everything perfectly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has changed the way I cook! I have a bit of experience with air fryers and this is by far a superior product. The "secret sauce" in the De'Longhi air fryer or thing that really makes this special and different from other models is the bottom heating element. Food crisps up and cooks much faster than I have experienced. Most air fryers have only a top element heating the air. This one heats from the bottom as well. This air fryer also has a viewing window. I do not have to disrupt the cooking to check in on my food. I can just peek in and see exactly how it is cooking up. When I make tortillas into tortilla chips, my kids love to watch the tortilla pieces "dance" through the window. I can make sure they get a perfect golden brown while the kids are entertained! I adopted a keto lifestyle about 6 months ago. Chicken, veggies, burgers- even keto cookies come out great! I have really found a quick way to adapt meals to myself while still cooking in a traditional style for my family and it is all thanks to this amazing cooking tool. The biggest game-changer for me in this air fryer.... BACON! I get crisp, perfectly cooked bacon in minutes. It is no longer a chore or a big mess. Once the grease cools I just drain it out. I am left with no lingering smell or hassle. Have you ever had an air fryer hot dog?? It tastes like it came off the grill without needing to fire one up! Really, anything you eat can be elevated if cooked in this product. I was so excited when I found out I got to have this air fryer in my home thanks to the Stella Product Testing Panel. It has been one of my favorite products and is an absolute staple and must-have in my kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Philips air fryer prior to receiving the De'Longhi version from the Stellar Testing Panel, and the De'Longhi is a huge step up! I love the non-stick, easy clean basket and the push-button open. I also like the generous basket size. My previous version had a grated basket that was nearly impossible to effectively wash, so I am thrilled at how easy clean up is with the De'Longhi. The viewing window is helpful, too, especially when I'm cooking a whole chicken and want to make sure there is enough space between the chicken and the lid. My only complaint about the De'Longhi is that you can't set it for a specific temperature; the manual setting allows you to program it to level 1 to 4, but I constantly have to reference the manual to check the corresponding temperature. I also don't love the pre-set options for potatoes, pizza, chicken, etc. I would prefer to just set for a specific temperature. All in all, this is a great device for cooking traditional “kid” foods, such as chicken strips, in a healthier, faster, cleaner way that doesn't heat up the kitchen. I also love trying innovative recipes, like homemade bagels, cinnamon rolls, bread sticks, etc.
