This faucet is absolutely amazing! Because this faucet has the pull down sprayer, it doubles as a standard faucet and sprayer, which is essential for any items too big to full fit in the sink. I used to dread cleaning pots/pans before I got this faucet, but not anymore! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
The Cassidy Touch2O faucet is the most user friendly item in our kitchen. The installation went without any issues and the faucet works exactly as described. I am amazed that the concept took so long to be made available for homeowners. Time will tell if the solenoid valve (that works with the Touch2O to turn the water on and off) will last as well as I expect from a Delta product. The list price for the solenoid unit replacement is a King's ransom, so I'm hoping for a long product life. Overall, our family loves the new faucet. Great job Delta!!
Nice faucet. The touch on the neck is not very reliable. The solenoid is a problem and spot working after less than two years. Delta knows this is a weakness and said they are working on improving it. I just hope they send me one before my warranty is up.
We love this faucet, with only one exception, which may just be something to get used to. If the water is on, and you want to adjust the volume of water coming out and you adjust it with the handle, of course the water turns off. I believe it would be better to not have the handle have the touch technology because of this situation. Otherwise, we love the look and performance.
Just installed this yesterday. The most I ever got out of the solenoid was that the LED changed color in accordance with the water temperature. The touch feature never once worked. Watched a handful of youtubes and googled a bunch, tried all trouble shooting methods (new batteries, etc) and still was not successful. While solenoid was engaged the water would shut off after 10 or fewer seconds, and would not be able to be turned back on. I was relegated to removing the solenoid and just using it in 100% manual mode. I love the faucet even in manual mode, but paid extra for the Touch functionality that is completely broken.
Worked great when it was new. Now that it's 7-8 months old the water continues to drip when shut off with the solenoid. I just took the batteries out so it will function as a normal faucet. Based on the overall rating and problems others have with this product I do not recommend spending money on this faucet.
We purchased this faucet when remodeling our kitchen. Love the look and in the beginning loved how it worked. It worked great for a few months and then it started to turn on by itself, not turn on when we touched it on the top and now it will only turn on when we touch the base part near the countertop. We replaced the batteries twice already. Paid a lot of money for this faucet and I would expect it to work better.
Sometimes have to turn the handle on and off several times and touch it over and over to get it to come on. Frequently turns off while I'm using it and no...it isn't because it times out. May only be on for 30 seconds while I'm washing my hands. Replaced the solenoid...didn't help. Hardwired it to get around the battery issues we had. Sometimes leaks if the handle is on and have touched it to turn it off. Way overpriced and a piece of junk. So unfortunate that Delta has willingly compromised the quality for which they were once known for. We've seen lower quality standards in other of their products as well. They're no longer our "go to" for faucets.
Worked great for a month. Then it started to work inconsistently. Then stopped working completely. Changed batteries. Had no effect. Touch feature only worked on lower portion of faucet, not upper part which is most convenient place for touch feature to be useful. Then it started working again, don't know why. Now have discovered touch feature does not work when faucet is warm from hot water. Took video of cycling back and forth between cold and hot water and working and not working by touch feature on upper portion of faucet neck that swivels from side to side…..
We purchased this faucet to go with a new sink we installed. We have had it 9 months. Now it doesn't work when tapped to get water and if we do have water flow it doesn't turn off when tapped. Sometimes it doesn't even turn on water when using the handle since the tapping mode doesn't work. Sometimes it just goes on when nobody is even close to it. We have replaced the batteries twice and that doesn't help. We have adjusted the solenoid but to no avail. These faucets are expensive and with the reputation that Delta has I expected more. Very frustrated with this product!
