I love everything with this recliner, fabric, design, comfort, color and very strong construction .I buy 2 of them 2.5 years ago and they are still in perfect condition .I buy 1 recliner for my son now and He absolutely love it, is not electric but not good experiences with electric ones in the past .Highly recommended and good price 👍
I love this chair. It has quickly become my favorite spot in the whole house. It is so comfortable! It is soft where it should be and supportive where it ought to be. It has such a smooth rocking motion. Unlike some glider rockers I've experienced in the past, this one does not click or thump at the furthest extents of the rock, whether forward or backward. It is well-balanced. It also turns 360 degrees smoothly, and you can keep rocking even while you slowly turn if you do it correctly. I love being able to look out the window or into the room without moving my body position. It has a sturdy fabric exterior that seems water-resistant if you dry it quickly and don't let it set. The color (which is more what I would call a blue-gray than charcoal) is cool and will blend well with just about any decor. I only have two concerns. The first is that it reclines so forcefully that it thumps and might wake a sleeping baby plus it takes quite a bit of force with your legs to get the recliner to shut again (I am hoping both will become easier with wear). Second, I am a tall person (5'9"), and the chair is almost too tall from knee to toe for me to rock comfortably, and I am worried that a shorter person might find it difficult.
I received this Charcoal colored Delta Children Drake Nursery Glider Swivel Recliner with partial assembly needed. My son put it together very easily, the instruction booklet that came with it was easy to follow and it was a quick set up. It is very comfortable, and my Granddaughter loves to sit on it with or without me, and it is great to help her fall asleep. The swivel and rocking work great, and the reclining feature is very easy to use - just a pull of the handle. The only negative I have had with this so far is that when getting up and out of the chair it is a little difficult to get the reclined footrest back down and difficult to keep it down. I think I may just need to get used to the chair, but at this time, once I have the footrest down, I have to give it a whack with the back of my foot to lock it in place. Not a big deal, considering all its other features.
I was really hesitant about buying a chair online without sitting in it first but after lots of research of several chairs this chair looks even better in person and it's super comfy! My only complaint is it's kind of hard to close the recliner, but only because I'm trying to close it super gently after I rock my baby and you can't really close a recliner gently. Otherwise I really like this chair! Great price too!
First, let me say this swivel recliner was so easy to assemble and it is not that heavy but it's sturdy. I'm an older lady and I had no problem doing it myself and sliding it from one room to another. It is very comfortable and plush with a deep seat and cushioned arms. Two reclining positions: Keep seat upright and just stretch out your legs or fully recline. It silently swivels full turn and glides smoothly. Comfortable for reading or feeding and bonding with your baby. Has a tailored look with nail head trim and is suitable for any room in your home. Pull tab mechanism on side of chair is easy to reach. Seat size is 20.25 " Wide and 20.75" Deep. Seat to Backrest Height is 25.5". Seat cushion is 8.75" Thick. Nice style and practical for nursery, bedroom, living room or den.
Nice chair for the money. Very good looking chair that reclines, rocks and swivels and comfortable too!!
Size for placement in any room is great. Color, trim, rocker, swivel, etc. is excellent. BUT...the only thing I dislike is the way the foot rest has to be slammed down to lock into place to stand up from the chair, therefore, "almost perfect".
I love everything about this chair the design the construction the only thing is that because it is not electric it is very hard to close because of the swivel mechanism and it when you stand up the chair moves as you're trying to kick the recliner mechanism down I feel the manufacturer should manufacture this with an electric mechanism and it would be perfect I can't even imagine using this for a baby as it's advertised in because by the time the baby went to sleep and you tried to get up see you're going to wake them up trying to get the chair closed. I'm a senior and I looked at so many different recliners as I was trying to purchase I was disappointed when I got this one in that I overlooked that it did not have a power reclining I'm going to keep it because of everything else that it has in this pluses hoping that I don't decline so that it not closing without such Force that I have problems that worries me otherwise I would say that it is a great recliner but if you don't want to have trouble closing it then you should consider on selecting another chair
Very uncomfortable, the foot rest does not stay up and it's smaller than picture.
Walmart shipped a damaged item. Discovered after assembly. The item doesn't fit through house doors and very heavy. Fedex delivery driver was rolling box as 2 people are required to lift. Packaging is damaged. Walmart thinks I should disassemble, bring it downstairs, find new packaging, when the item can't be lifted due to weight. Another option offered for refund is to bring the item to a Walmart store in my car with loading and unloading involved. Awesome surprise as we are awaiting our baby to arrive.
