Delta Children Epic 3-Tier Kids Bookshelf, Greenguard Gold Certified, Dark Chocolate

I absolutely love this bookcase and all of the other Delta furniture i have purchased over the last 9 years. The quality is exceptional for the price and it is so sturdy. I am a petite woman, who is not handy, and I put this together by myself with no problems! Do not hesitate to purchase this bookcase!!!

"The bookshelf is excellent (we own another) and I was glad it was in stock. The price is slightly higher than other sources, but admittedly another order I placed elsewhere was canceled due to the bookshelf being ""unexpectedly out of stock."" So I was willing to pay a little bit more to actually get it. Had it been $25 cheaper

It went together nice other than some of the holes to screw on the back panels didn't line up. Fits well as a hutch, also nice as a book shelf. Now I just have to figure out what to do with the extra pieces that make it a shelf.

Super Easy to put together. Didn't take very long at all. Very well made. Worth the money. I would 100% recommend and buy again. I paired it with the dresser to match, purchased separately to create a hutch to store my baby's clothes and cloth diapers in my master bedroom. Since I had no spot for baby's things before

I'm extremely pleased with this bookshelf!!! I love the color, I love the size, I pretty much love everything about it. Bookshelf also comes with extra screws so if you purchase the dresser you can secure it to the dresser and use as a hutch as well. Personally I did buy both pieces but I am using them separately.

Opened the box and all pieces and parts were there, however, we were missing the instructions and some of the predrilled holes that were supposed to be certain places weren't there. We've ordered mostly Delta products, such as our baby crib and dresser, and it seems like something is always missing that turns into a problem that we didn't need. We've found a way to fix it ourselves every time but still frustrating. Overall, the bookcase is still cute and will serve its purpose.

The back pieces are very flimsy and move when a book hits them. We nailed the pieces down correctly but will have to glue also. But that will Be hard to do as there is not much surface to work with. There was also a very strong smell that has yet to dissipate after a week

Did not receive the bookshelf and or hutch option as shown with the delta epic dresser. A bookshelf that looks the same but does not allow for the hutch option was sent. Like it, but did not want a free standing book shelf. We put it all together before realizing it. Ugg......

The holes did not line up AT ALL to insert the screws in the back panel. It was ridiculous, and if you try to insert, the wood begins to crack and separate. I also did not care for the "shiny" look of the gray color. I have other Delta products which have been great! This one not so much. I am returning!

“Green gold certified” is a big fat lie! I've been looking for a bookshelf in my price range without toxic chemicals and was so excited to finally find just what I was looking for — or so I thought. The reviews are correct about a horrendous toxic chemical smell; the claims they make are illegal and I'll be filing a complaint with the CPB. I don't know how they can get away with claiming this. I don't even think it is real wood. Well, you get what you pay for, I guess. Wish I could return it, but my husband already assembled it; will probably have to throw it away. My 5-year-old was so excited about his new bookshelf, but it's not worth the cancer risk. It's so unfortunate that they can get away with these false advertising claims.
