Delta Children Epic Nursery Glider Swivel Rocker Chair, Sailor Blue

It is a firm , "sit up straight" chair, and I like that. Comfortable, with smooth rocking and swivel. I am a 5'6" 3X woman and have plenty of room. Love that it has the skirt to cover the swivel base. Fabric has a very neat appearance. Hope it holds up!

I ordered this chair to have an extra seat in the den while the whole family was home with s/o for Thanksgiving. It's a comfortable size for an average adult. Fits nicely in the corner, easy to assemble. Glides, rocks, and swivels, but appreciate the swivel for easy conversation. While I intentionally wanted a lower priced option with a quick delivery, this does not feel like a cheap purchase. I'm a pleased customer.

I wanted to get a new glider for my family room for a while and this Delta Children Epic Glider is perfect! It was delivered by FedEx and instead of carrying it inside for me as they had promised they just dumped it in the driveway. Fortunately I got help bringing it inside (it's in 2 pieces in the box) and it was very easy to assemble. Just slide the back into the slots on the lower part of the chair and then screw in the 2 bolts underneath. There were 2 ties (they are listed in the paperwork as straps but they were black and white ribbons tied in bows) underneath the chair that need to be cut off. They are just there for shipping and if they are left on the chair will make a weird grunting noise but it will still rock and swivel. It is so very comfortable! The cushion is thick and padded well and there is Velcro underneath that attaches it to the base of the chair so that it will not slip out or off of the chair. This is a good thing but it does prevent you from being able to flip the cushion over if you get it dirty or accidentally tear it. The swivel base is very big so the chair won't tip over unless you push it over. It swivels 360°. The glider motion is really smooth and so relaxing! Two of my cousins sat in the chair and wanted to take it home with them. We are all different sizes and it was a perfect fit for all 3 of us. The material is a quality weave that seems like it will last for a very long time and not show any wear at all. I'm not sure about cleaning it but I imagine that it will clean up as nicely as any of my other furniture. I would recommend this glider to anyone looking for a comfortable rocking chair that swivels and it will look nice in a nursery or any room in your house. It's a sturdy, well made piece of furniture that I think will last a long time. The taupe color looks good with my beige carpeting and it would blend well with any colors you have in your room.

This is a children's chair, but I bought it for my living room I have a low back futon and it looks perfect size and color wise. I weight 230 and bc 5'9”. And sit comfortably in it. It does sit low but it isn't an odd low. If that makes sense. Good materials, nicely made. Swivels and rocks good. Great buy!

This is a great glider/ rocker for the value. I wish that the fabric was softer but overall great for a small room!!

It looks and feels really good. It's a smaller chair but it works for what I bought it for. Rocks very smoothly. In theory it should be really easy to assemble, but I struggled to get the backrest onto the base. The grooves in the hardware seemed not to be aligned perfectly but eventually, after a lot of effort… I finally got it! Then it was just two bolts to hold the backrest to the base and done. You just have to make sure the brackets on the backrest glide INTO the grooves on the base on both sides. Otherwise the backrest will not line up and attach properly. The instructions lacked details, but it's pretty simple overall.

In review of this Delta taupe chair this cloth chair is a very pretty and clean design. All you have to do to assemble is screw the back on, very simple. I think it would go great in a nursery but at the same time I needed one for my living room. I got the taupe color fabric is neutral and I love it! I think it goes just as good in the living room as for a nursery. Only thing I might wish it did was recline but the chair swivels and it also rocks. The one thing I would add is that the fabric needs a scotch guard immediately. The taupe color is great but somewhat light in color. My toddler is a mess, and already spilled something on it, and I used fabric cleaner to get the small stain out and it kind of left a water ring on the fabric already. So make sure to spray with fabric protector and I think that would help this chair tremendously. The back of this chair is not super high and the lower back support is lacking in my opinion. I put a pillow there and it felt much better. The chair is very pretty and sleek, but I would suggest the fabric protector. Pros of this chair is that it rocks very smooth and I love the swivel. I would have left 5 stars except for the fabric issue.

The product itself was fine. The delivery was TERRIBLE. The driver dumped the heavy box at the end of our walkway in the pouring rain. I had to beg a neighbor to drag it inside my house with me so the chair didn't get ruined. Thank goodness I was home from work and it didn't sit out there for hours.

I am 5 foot 3 and it is too small for me. I cannot sit comfortably. My main complaint, and am returning chair for this reason alone, is the fabric. There is brown horsehair-like open threads woven into the white fabric that is super rough. Feels just like wood splinters when your skin touches it. I have never felt a fabric like this! It is a pretty chair, but the fabric is just way too rough.

The seats are so hard they're very uncomfortable. The backs are arched in away that they are very uncomfortable. We're trying to decide what to do with these chairs that we don't feel we're going to use. We are really aggravated that these are advertised for chairs in a nursery, most uncomfortable seating we've ever known.
