Was simple to install and we are very happy with the height and looks pus the great warranty.
Very sturdy and the sprayer retracts easily!!! My biggest problem with the old faucet..
Decided to replace my 26 year old white steel kitchen sink with a new stainless one. Opted to just buy a new faucet as well, which was same model I had on my own sink. I've had the old faucet for at least 5 years now (can't remember) but have never had a problem with the old faucet. We do have hard well water going to our kitchen, and it usually affects something over time. I have no idea how long the washerless "cartridge" design is supposed to last, but I hate dealing with leaking faucets, and I don't want to worry about it for another 5-10 years. My wife likes the two handled faucets, and the price was right at Home Depot, so no regrets.
We have this faucet in the kitchen now for about three weeks. The wife love that the faucet is higher than our old one. This makes it easier to fill large pots and bowls. The only downside, the faucet thumps a couple of times when you turn it on. You can see the arch jump a bit. Is there a max pressure that this faucet requires?
About two and a half years ago, I purchased a Delta two-handle kitchen faucet with spray. Four weeks ago, it began to leak just below the Hot knob, whenever either handle was turned on. I did not have any purchase receipts or documentation of where & when I bought it ... and I didn't want to deal with trying to repair it myself. Plus, there was a potential that the leak would get much worse - possibly doing damage to my kitchen, so I decided to purchase this new unit. It is the exact design that fits my needs. Installation was straight-forward & directions were clear. So far, so good. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Truly a great faucet. I replaced my old (19 yr. old) faucet initially with another brand and it was difficult to install and didn't work properly as it leaked underneath the cabinet. I took that faucet back and purchased the Delta faucet. It took all of 10 minutes to install -- no leaks, no problems whatsoever. It's a great faucet and I will be purchasing Delta-only products in the future.
I replaced a Moen facet that was 12 years old and considerably more heavy duty. The first thing I noticed after installation was the wobble turning on and off the faucet handles. Also turning the neck from side to side has more wobble/play than I would like to have. The base seems pretty light duty but maybe everything is that way today. I have your products in a two sink vanity and a single control shower unit. These I am very pleased with and your service has been greatly appreciated.
I love this faucet and it had been a long time coming! However, I was very disappointed to figure out that I had to pay a $20 price differential for the stainless steel finish vs. the chrome. Overall, extremely happy with it, found it easy to install and would definitely recommend!
This is a simple, cheap faucet and functions as it should. There is nothing fancy about it, but it works. I've had trouble keeping the sprayer connection tight; even a small leak leads to severe "hammering" of the main faucet. Of course, Delta makes some of the most beautiful faucets out there, should you wish to pay for them (which I do for other properties, and love them all). This one is a simple, cheap faucet. Easy install and use. Height of faucet leads to strong leverage at base of faucet.....be aware of this if installing on a flimsy stainless sink. This is not fault of Delta, simply a matter of physics.
The sprayer leaks whenever you turn on the water. Makes a big mess if you do not keep wiping up the water. Went with Delta because they use to have Quality.
