We just renovated the master bathroom and used these in brushed nickel for the sinks, they are beautiful both in and not in use. The water flow was too restrictive at first, causing the water to land on the drain, and splash all over you. Per the instructions, there is a small plastic piece about the size of a pencil eraser inside of the faucet, once that was removed the water flowed perfectly, the only down side to not having that piece in is that the volume of water decreases when you go from warm (center) to only hot or cold. Cons - They have been installed for about a month now and you can start to see lines in the channel where the water comes out from water drying in there. the brushed nickel shows water spots and finger smudges, its not as bad as Chrome, but not nearly as good of a finish as was on my old delta brass faucets.
The faucet is good quality but it should angle so it doesn't hold water in the barrel. EI'm afraid it will show damage over time because of the iron and chemicals in our water. It's also very low. I would suggest a longer stem and an angle to the barrel. It's difficult for large hands to have enough room under the faucet.
After 6 months, this faucet had developed two patches where the finish has rubbed off. Looks terrible. Have reached out to Delta to see what options are available to us. I can't imagine what the faucets will look like over a year's time.
This is by far the worst bathroom faucet! The only nice thing about it is it’s look. For a delta product it’s simply terrible and the fact that delta is selling this faucet is disappointing. The water flow is absurd. No pressure, it’s a trickle of water that makes it’s way to the counter every time someone washes their hands. Forget trying to wash your face in the sink. Ugh! Water doesn’t flow straight down. Do NOT buy this faucet.
My wife is a cancer patient at M. D. Anderson in Huston Tx. Every room in the Holliday Inn has the waterfall faucets. There; you see many people warring mask because there immune systems are very low. These open top exposed faucets make me wonder who's DNA , Flu Germs, ect. may have settled there. The faucet in our room last week had a green tinted build up in the channel. I'll never understand how these faucets passed health guidelines for public places, being exposed to so many people.
Have had three of these installed by professional plumber 7 years ago. Each one has been problematic. Spout eroded down to the metal - now it's just ugly; handle scratched over time even though never used anything harsher than vinegar; handle became harder to operate over time; handle loose and could not be tightened, set screw stripped very easily - not stuck with floppy handle. Cleaning was always a chore, hard water deposits got under handle. Replacement parts were provided, but will be replacing this with something other than this model.
I bought 2 568LF-MPU faucets and had them installed by a professional plumber. I knew they were low flow but it is so low we can barley use them. I have tried to get information on how remove the flow restriction valve. IT IS NOT IN THE END OF THE FAUCET. No one even professional plumbers have an answer. The diagrams I can find do not match exactly to my faucet so.
I have this faucet in my master bathroom on two sinks. They have had to be replaced twice in two years because of pitting. Very disappointing and now I see its happening again.
I wish I would have read these reviews before wasting money on this faucet. As previous reviewers have mentioned, the water flow is horrible. So little water emerges, it takes 5 minutes to warm up.
I think a ten dollar faucet would have been better. We have had this 8 months and we have no water at all. No one carries a cartage. What a price of garbage. If I had a way I would get my money. Yes it looks good but heck if it works.
