I purchased this as a brand new and unused faucet directly from Walmart.com. The item was shipped quickly and the package appeared in good condition, but when I opened it I noticed that some of the packaging material had been opened, and the main faucet spout was re-packaged in a used bubble mailer. As I went through the instructions, I realized that the base escutcheon and gasket were missing from the packaging. Without these, the faucet cannot be installed. I then noticed on the Packing List that it was shipped from "Walmart.com Returns, 6719 W 350 North, Greenfield, IN 46140." It is clear to me that they shipped me a returned item as new. I have contacted Walmart, and they are unwilling to process a return, exchange, or help in any way because I am now outside of the 90-day return window. I didn't intend for that to be the case when I purchased it, but I ended up delaying the repairs and replacement of my kitchen sink and faucet.
I really like the separate handle versus on the spout, much stronger and will last longer. The install was straight forward, you need a 3 hole sink vs. 1 hole of course with holes at least 4" apart per instructions. The spray mode stays on, so does not have to adjust every time you turn on the faucet. Magnetic nozzle holder is GENIUS, my other sink does not have this and painful. Great faucet, beat out Moen and Kohler in my opinion. Enjoy!
This Delta Kate Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet is well designed. We chose this item because of the experience that we had with the Delta Company. They honored their lifetime warranty regarding our previous faucet. We chose a Delta faucet when we needed a new one. We ran into trouble installing the new faucet and, as expected, customer service was exceptional! They worked with us until we were successful. We love this company! Their lifetime guarantee is for real!
It looks nice, but the handle to the faucet works backwards. Push down to turn on the water, when it should be pull up. Had to order another cartridge which will take 3-4 days. Customer Service person was good and took care of us. But it should have been an easy install, now it's going to cost another trip out for about $100. Not too happy about that!
Scoured around for a new faucet setup. Decided on this and was planning to buy it through Lowes, but tossed it into google again to double check pricing and it was $50 cheaper through Walmart-easy choice. Arrived perfect like any other Delta. Install was easy but make sure to read because you might need a deck plate which is NOT included and is a must for thin or stainless sinks and worth it. Faucet is a very different setup, so muscle memory took a bit to acclimate, but I love it as much as I hoped I would.
this brand is amazing. the customer support is quick and easily accessible. Delta supplies parts for a lifetime
Assembly and installation instructions could have been better.
Good quality product from Delta.--Arrived on time.
Hard to find item, Walmart came through at a good price, after Ebay failed.
Very high quality assembly. Walmart pricing was very competitive. Suggestion for Delta is to provide instructions for each specific model and not generic covering several different models
