This sink flange fits the sink as it should. The parts below the sink are PVC, and the overall length of the flange is longer than the standard sink flange. Your plumbing below your sink will have to be altered. Not that difficult to do, but was a surprise I had not expected. I rated this product 5 stars because of the Lifetime Warranty that Delta has on this product. The working parts of this flange and strainer are of good quality metal with a beautiful finish. As far as the plastic below the sink, all of my drains plumbing under all of my sinks are PVC and I NEVER have any problems with my drain plumbing. If and when I need to remove any of the PVC pipes they always come apart with ease. The PVC on this sink flange is heavy duty and I don't expect any issues whatsoever.
I ordered this thing drain to go with my new Krause Oletto faucet and it looks sensational.
This is a sturdy, well-made product. The metal does not appear to tarnish or change. The style and design of the product are modern and have a nice aesthetic.
I've had my Delta 72010 Strainer installed now for about 5 years and have had no issues until now. All I need is a simple ten-cent seal for my strainer basket and can't seem to locate one anywhere. There needs to be a source for these seals, since NO seal last forever!
Faulty product. I've gone through two of these, both used less than 6 months on a kitchen sink that only has light dishwashing use. The piece on the bottom has broken off in full and made the strainer useless, causing flooding under my sink.
The strainer fell apart and every time I screwed it together it fell apart again. Replacement is way too expensive and not worth the cost. Hoping to locate a universal strainer and stopper that will fit.
We have had gone through 2 of these already! Luckily Delta stands by their products and will ship out a new one under their lifetime warranty. We moved into our home in June 2024 and it's been 6 months and we had 2 break.
Basket strainer blew out and now the flange/tail-piece has blown out. So expensive, but such poor quality.
Horrible! This didn't even last one year. I'm so upset.
In the last 3 days I have had 2 people make the same complaint with the Delta 72010 kitchen strainer. The basket post has a round ball that seems to be rusting off. I called Delta on one issue and the customer called on the other issue.
