The lahara monitor 17 series valve has both flow and temperature controls. I have enjoyed this feature.

as close to a basic handle style and design that we were looking for. Not to impressed by the extra handle for temperature regulation, you still have to wait for the hot water to come through the pipes. Keep it easy, one handle for on/off and temperature regulation.

I had to make some alterations to the shower wall, but aside from that I was able to install the new faucet without any issues. Thankfully, I do my own home repair and improvement so I didn't have to ask anyone for help. I love the new faucet now, it works great. I would absolutely recommend these!

The separate temperature lever is a great idea, set your temperature once and use the second lever to control the water flow. Stylish and looks amazing in our shower.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with my Delta Lahara monitor 17 series 1 handle in chrome finish! First it looks and feels of excellent quality. Second it was so easy to install. The valve and trim and handle were easy to put on. Just follow the easy to read instructions. I love that i just move the handle to how i want the water and so easy to adjust. A wonderful quality product that i will be sure to recommend to anyone needing these types of products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this shower handle in my spare bathroom so it doesn't get used very often. When it has been used it works just as well as I thought it would. The installation was fairly simple and the design is visually appealing. Overall a good product.

I give this 1 star because no stars isn't an option. My 15 year old Delta shower faucet started leaking so had plumber install in a new one. He selected this. His reasoning was you can set the temp and never move it. Reality? No you can't because there is more than one person in the house and even if it was just me, that still doesn't work. The water flow is so restricted (1.7gpm) that if I leave it set it takes several minutes for the shower to reach temp. Turning it to full hot, it still takes close to a minute and my shower is less than 10 feet from the water heater. Next problem is the scald guard. Had to remove it and cut about 1/2 of it off in order for water to get hot enough to satisfy my wife, this after turning the water heater up to 145. The 1.7gpm renders my 2.5gpm shower head virtually useless due to lack of pressure. Lastly, the quality. While the trim ring and main handle are metal, the temp control handle is just a thin metal cap over plastic which makes for very poor fit and finish. We've been using this thing for about a month now and I can already tell the inside that actually hold it to the mechanics will break by the end of the year. Final take, this is a very cheap faucet that will require a complete replacement within a few years. For reference, my house is 32 years old and this i only the 3rd faucet we've had in the shower, replaced in the past due to the parts to service the valve being discontinued.
