This towel bar is of pretty good quality and looks very good (4 stars). I installed this to the exact layout of the template. Like another reviewer said, the diameter of the bar is too small. Combine that with the fact that (in my case) the length of the bar is also too short (which results in around 1/4" to 1/2" of lateral play), and it spins freely. That's not acceptable to me, and I'll need to try to figure out how to fix it (maybe wrap the ends in adhesive tape). Also, don't even think about using the included wall anchors for a drywall installation. They are far too flimsy. (2 stars for all this).

The setscrew/right mounting bracket were not turning freely, not sure if it was the "chrome" finish gumming the threads or poorly tapped. Since the setscrew did not turn properly, the head rounded and stripped. I could never tighten properly, so the bracket is loose. Since the set screw is stripped I am sure it will be very difficult to remove.
