Delta: Push Pop-Up with Overflow

The drain stopper looks nice but it doesn't drain the water well; water piles up in the sink and after several seconds it drains. It seems like the hole is not large enough to pass water through. Can this be adjusted?!

I installed a Delta pop-up drain on a bathroom sink with no problems, so I purchased 2 more for my other 2 bathrooms with identical sinks. However, unlike the first the second leakes from both top nut holding the drain to the sink as well as the lower fitting down pipe. Also, when the domed cap in the sink is screwed tight the pop-up doesn't engage. If I loosen it a bit it engages, but doesn't release. To get if to work I have to unscrew it a complete turn and then it wobbles. I tried both new pop-ups and they are both the same. I even took the chrome cap and pop-up assembly from the good sink, but it didn't work in the second drain assembly. I can live with the loose cap and will now try plumbers tape to fix the leak.

I've been very happy with this drain for the first two years. Looks good and seems sturdy but now it won't pop open when I push. It's been getting worse for the last year and now it seems permanently stuck down. It disassembled it and cleaned out and greased up the internal mechanism to no avail. I believe that it is worn just enough to keep it from working.

Install was Not easy. Leaks. Had tonreassemble 5 times and finally CRANKED IT SOOOO TIGHT to keep water from getting past the stopper under sink. Purchased October 1999. Installed December 1999. In March 2020 the stopper no longer stays down so it is useless. Looks good, though, in down position. Too big for smaller sink as it is in the ways of washing hands when up/open position but IT LOOKS GOOOOOD in downnposition;big and bold. Had 3 good months with it. I cant find replacement top part anywhere and I do NOT intend of installing a new entire assembly. No way. Going MOEN in future.

When fully threaded in, pop up stopper wont pop up when pushed on. Got it to work by partially unthreading the pop up stopper. Same problem on two different stoppers. Delta broadmoor centerset pulldown lavatory faucet with included popup drain. I see that this is a repeat problem with other customers.

The pop-up keeps getting stuck in the down position. The first lasted about 3 years. Since then I have replaced 3 in approx 6 months. It looks nice when it's working, I just don't know when it's going to happen again.

Remodeled bathroom 2 years ago and purchased delta faucets. The pop up works great but the first one corroded after a year. Replaced it. 2nd pop up in the other sink now corroded and snapped off. Guess I'll buy another one or junk these and buy something else. Might as well spending the money on a different faucet design with new stoppers.
