Deluxe 24-in In-Pool Step for Above Ground Pools - Taupe

We bought this for our kids above ground pool, because all they had was the ladder type. That was so hard for us older folks to use. So we made wood steps on outside and then attached these stairs to the wood on the inside .

Has made it so much easier to get in and out of my pool.

I was having a hard time finding steps for my above ground pool because our deck was 58" high and most steps only adjusted to 54". This one said it fit decks up to 60" and it was perfect for our pool.

The steps are made well, and very stream line, so they don't take up as much of your pool. I hung a weight in back, that came from my old huge steps,the clip fit right through the opening on the first step. they stay put much better than the huge steps did. absolutely love them. only down side is, if you have someone really big that wants to swim in your pool, you have to tell them nicely the weight limit is 300 lbs!!! hopefully i wont have anyone that big trying to swim at my house!

Pros: Pool steps work good and are fairly sturdy. They are a little steep so you might want to walk down them backwards getting into the pool. However, it's nice that they don't take up a lot of room in the pool. Steps did not require sand to hold them in place in the pool. Cons: not all the screws and washers are stainless steel, so they tend to rust.

I wanted wedding cake steps, but my husband didn't want to spend that much money and he said our pool is a small above ground pool and they would take up too much space. These pool steps are nice for the money. Although, they are a little flimsy. They probably wouldn't be good for larger people.

Not bad. Was a little pricey but we really needed a pool ladder. It has very steep steps. We did not put sand inside. We just let it sit in the Pool and it took about 4 days for it to naturally sink. Works like a champ! Hand rails are not that sturdy so don't depend on those for Balance. Dogs are able to get out using these steps but is a bit of a struggle. Great for kids and bonus it doesn't take much room in the pool with the steps being so steep. Would recommend for kids and lighter people. However not for dogs or heavier people.

They are way better then pool ladders but I wish this particular one had more of a slant and the steps were wider.

The unopened package/box were missing all the required bolts. Very irritating and based on other reviews not the first issue.
