Deluxe Potting Bench, Natural Fir

I love to plant my flower pots in the spring but it is such a messy job. I have thought about getting one of these benches for a long time but never had a spot for one. I just bought a new house and then found this online. I haven't put it together yet because it's winter and also because I won't be moving until March. This is exactly what I was looking for to keep all my tools, pots and soil in one place. It will also make a great work bench to paint my terra-cotta pots and let them dry.

Upon arrival, I noticed that the box was large and quite heavy,indicating that this was not one of those flimsy kits. I was more than pleasantly surprised. This is an outstanding value. The kit came complete with all parts,easy to follow instructions. It does take two people to assemble,but my husband and I put it together with no problems in about an hour and a half. It is very solid and sturdy,made of cedar,and will last for years. I love the shelving and drawer for storage. I am posting a picture of ours after assembly because it is larger and much more attractive than I feel the picture shows. I would highly reccomend this product. It is a great value for the money.

This bench came well packaged and all wooden pieces and hardware were included and the basin was in great condition. Received in two days.We put it together in less than an hour. Used wood glue to make sure it would be extra sturdy and also sealed it with three coats of sealer before putting together. I bought the natural finish. The half shelf below has three holes to adjust up or down. The hardware is cheap. I'm not using the drawer handle. It's easy to open from underneath. I'm also not using the hooks. Will attach a basket to side of bench. It's sturdy and will be out in the rain. A nice addition to my patio and a great way to save my back. Great bench for under $100.

I love it. It makes potting plants so much easier and handy. It was pretty simple to assemble too.

This Plotting bench is good enough for small projects. We plan to get some deck stain water protection and applying it to the bench as the wood is what you paid for....overall, nice looking just cheap looking that a little stain can't fix!

overall, i was quite pleased with the potting bench. it took a good while to assemble, and the instructions leave something to be desired (watch carefully that the legs with the holes drilled in them end up on the right side and middle so the small shelf can be added - this detail was ignored in the instructions, and the legs proved very hard to drill, as we had to add holes since the undrilled leg ended up in the middle : (. but overall, the piece went together as intended. The potting bench is sturdy and nice looking in the shed where we're using it, and is serving it's purpose well. Not sure how it would fare exposed to the weather. I do like the size and height.

Everything went together as designed; no parts were missing or or damaged. With a light sand and a coat of polyurethane, we decided to use it indoors on the porch instead of outdoors. May have to buy another one!

I really love this garden work bench. The only reason I gave it four stars was because after one day it developed a crack by the dry sink area... we plan to fill it in... I love working at the bench and not having to stoop. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Although there was a slight difficulty reading the instruction sheet, the potting bench was fairly easy to put together. The size of the work area is very nice. The only problem I had was with one piece spltting, however, it was small, and I was able to apply a little wood glue. It appeared that the pre-drilled screw hole was a little too far to the right causing the split. Overall, the quality is very good and I will surely enjoy using it in my garden. The wood splits as you screw in the screws, the bin came cracked and the drawer arrived damaged. I paid some one to put it together so I can't afford to take it back.
