Fantastic Scrabble set, with turning ability. Well worth the cost of this set.

Old time favourite updated
I am thrilled they have a raised grid on the board, it's a lot better than the original flat board. Being the Deluxe Edtion and having to wait for it to come out..I believe it was worth it.. The timer sure comes in handy!! I think it would make a GREAT gift for someone of any age. Christmas will be here sooner than you think..!!

not bad for tthe price
I was trying to find scrabble for a while and my local toys r us didn't have the deluxe edition for a long time....all i really cared about was the raised board so the tiles stay where they are and a rotating board , it makes the game play easier. This set was ok. the raised board was kinda warped and cheap so the latter don't stay as well as some other deluxe sets but it's ok... other than that it's actually a decent set for the price i really couldn't afford to pay much more for the set i wanted ...so overall it was a good buy!

Much better than plain Scrabble board
Positive: The Scrabble set works well and generally meets expectations, especially by keeping the tiles from sliding out of position. Negative: The stickers that attach to the tile racks are very difficult to read.
