Demarini Ultimate Weapon Slowpitch Bat - 34"/26 (2022)

Here's the deal, anyone who has given this bat a poor review clearly doesn't understand what this bat is designed for. It's half the price of their Utrip and USA bats and people are grading it like it should be performing at those expensive bat levels. This is the perfect bat for an extremely low talent slowpitch league. I bought one for a coed league I play in where I don't care if anyone swings it and nobody gets hurt when a ball is smoked. I play religiously and have nice bats I don't want people swinging in lower rec games because people can get hurt and this is the perfect bat for that scenario. It's not designed to be a nuke hitter or a laser show, it's designed to be a bat that can be used in any scenario for any level of play. The pop is not equal to Vanilla Gorilla or a Juggy... but for the price it is, it's a fantastic bat.

I bought this bat after trying the DeMarini Uprising. The Uprising was less than inspiring. It felt weak and stung my hands. The Ultimate Weapon was hugely better. It feels solid, and the ball explodes off the bat. I play in a senior league with tight bat restrictions. We can only use single wall alloy bats. The Ultimate Weapon is the best compliant bat I've found. Very happy with it.

Not a great year for this bat very pingy. The grip tape lasted about two whole games and is basically off. Still prolly the best single wall, one piece, non composite bat. But very disappointed.

Was my first slow pitch softball bat i purchased in years. Feels great and well balanced. Gets a bit hotter the more swings you take. However, it's true what previous reviews say about the ping sound but that's to be expected from a aluminum bat at this price point. The tape on the handle is very flimsy and came off after a couple of hundred swings at the batting cages. I wen't with my own custom made batting tape from lizard skin and improved handling so much better. Overall, a nice bat if you're getting back into a rec softball league. After a few months, I bought another demarini composite bat and loooved it!.

Bought last week, used it in my game tonight and it would be better served as a paper weight.
