Excellence is Easy to Appreciate

Al_in_London November 24, 2020

I have read many reviews of premium priced cookware. The one metric that always seems to be missing is the most important one: "price vs. performance. In addition to my Demere products, I own several pieces of cookware that always seems to come up highly rated. Based on my experience: > I'll never hesitate to say that the functional benefits that Demeyere claims, are absolutely true. > The idea that the price point of Demeyere is significantly higher than that of competing products, is a myth. So, if price/performance is your measure, I recommend the Demeyere products Caveats: >> When Demeyere was sold to Zwilling I worried that, over time, the quality of the product my be compromised.I haven't yet experienced that to be the case. >> The only product where I think weight and functional valuemight be out of balance is the larger saute pan.

Present for me.

PJrels June 19, 2020

I purchased a set of these pans and skillets for my son. I was impressed with the look and the weight of them so a bought a replacement for my 1.5 sauce pan (all clad) and just love it. It has a perfectly flat bottom so it heats evenly and with no rivets on the inside clean up is a breeze. Can't wait to replace my 6.0. Just as additional information I purchased a 12.5 skillet last year which I totally love also. These pans are pricey but really worth the money. I can see them “seeing me out”. I use them every day pretty much and they look like new with a little Barkeepers Friend and a scour sponge.

Elegant design

leftovercook April 24, 2020

The Atlantis line is elegant in design. And, perfect in function! The pot and lid handles don't get so as to require a pot holder unless you're cooking at high heat. The very flat bottoms sit perfectly on my induction range. The pots clean with ease. I bought this size to use when the 1.1 qt. is too small and the 2.3 qt. is too large.

Best pot you'll ever buy

Arianf November 5, 2024

I have used both this item and the larger pot as well and they both cook so evenly. Not only that are they very stylish but they clean so easily too. My husband for sure though he burnt gravy in it but when we went to clean it there were not stains at the bottom and it still looks brand new. 100% recommend.

great line of cookware

Alamedagirl April 24, 2020

I have an induction stovetop and I've tried several other lines of cookware on it. If I didn't know better I would have been fine with any of those...until I tried Atlantis! The efficiency of this cookware on the inductions reminded my why I chose induction. The thick bottom maintains full contact with my stove producing more heat from the magnetic field, this is turn, allow my water to boil almost instantaneously! Liquids heat up so quickly, I'm having to learn to readjust my timing but so well worth it!. My food is cooking almost as soon as I put the water on. I imagine that the results are similar if you have gas but with induction, there is no better way to go!

Perfect sized pot for so many things - warming soups or sauces, leftovers for 1 or 2, chili, stew, or veggies. Stay cool handle and heats quickly and evenly, with the 7-layer stainless steel construction. Demeyere is top-of-the-line! This is a pot I grab all day long! This size usually doesn't come in cookware sets, so this is a great addition.

my favorite pan for warming up soups, sauces etc. Love all my Demeyere pans, but this size is the best. Feel like a professional cook when using this fantastic cookware. Love the stay cool handle and the coating on the outside that keep it looking new.

Bradley Baby Mochi April 7, 2020

This 1.6qt. sauce pot size is great for small portion cooking needs though still versatile cookware. It is a saucepan is a single served pot, you can also use for deep frying or heating up food, and also perfect for soup even wonderful to cook rice in it. Atlantis is the best cookware at our store for anyone who are looking for a decent size pot that is also a wonderful quality cookware. This pot ensures impressive heat conduction, base stays flat even when heated, and maneuverability with the stay-cool 18/10 stainless steel handles, are securely welded and extremely hygienic. Quick Breakdown of Positives & Negatives

CookReview September 16, 2024

Demeyere Atlantis 1.6-qt Stainless Steel Saucepan Positives: Excellent, Even cooking Can be used on multiple cook surfaces (induction, gas, electric) No internal rivets = no extra scrubbing, yet construction secure Note: Stated height is 5.08 inches. Without lid, saucepan is a bit under 3.5 inches Cons Heavy saucepan for its size, which may be a consideration for some. Would help to have a helper handle on the opposite side. Lid handle gets hot; You'll need a silicone grabber with this one.
