This isn't the kind product that you use and whether it's good or not is immediately evident. It works over time. But as the function is basically a simple chemical process I'm just hoping they are manufactured properly. One reviewer noted that there were no instructions, which is true, at least also in my case. But I know from my experience with things like this that they just stay in the water all the time to do their work, even through water changes and additions. I plan to change them once a month. They are small and do not get in the way and are easy to change. I only wish there was a way to "recharge" or recycle them so they didn't end up in a landfill.

I just received these today. Be aware, there are no directions for use nor is there any information on how you are to know when to replace the cartridge. The information on the sale add says 30-40 days? It also doesn't indicate if the cartridge should sit in the water for any amount of time before turning on the humidifier. I didn't wait. Hopefully, that was correct . I will update this review after some use. I'm not sure why reviews are solicited so quickly
