Helps my dog liver function
The product was as described and I received my order as stated. I am very pleased with the ease of ordering and receipt of product.
I wrote a review already which was a few months after starting this product in conjunction with Marin. My dog had ALT levels which had risen from 200's to 400's. After a year on Denosyl and Marin, she has the best liver tests she has ever had! Her ALT has dropped to 140 which is slightly outside the normal range for younger dogs, but she is 15 yrs old and therefore she is in the normal range for her age. This product is excellent and I attribute her normal ALT levels to the use of Denosyl and Marin which I always purchase from Smartpak.
My dog has always had elevated ALT levels. Recently her ALT levels escalated from the 200's to the 400's which prompted me to start her on Denosyl and Marin. After 3 months of being on Denosyl and Marin her ALT levels have returned to the 200's. I have high hopes that her levels will dip into the normal range after a few more months on Denosyl and Marin.
My Aussie was diagnosed with Lupus 6 years ago. The meds he takes does damage to his liver. Since starting Denosyl 2 years ago his liver tests are back to normal adding years to his life.
Our dog got very sick in February 2020. and the vet found that his liver enzymes were way too high. The vet gave our dog an antibiotic and some other meds in office and then recommended sam-E (S-Adenosyl-L-Methionine or also known as S-Adenosylmethionine) as a supplement for a thirty day duration to help with the liver. Then, in mid-March, when our dog was finished with all thirty pills of sam-E, we took him back to our vet to have another blood test run. The sam-E apparently worked as his numbers for his liver were in the normal range. (Plus we could tell that he definitely was feeling much better … back to his old energetic self again). While at the vet, I showed the doctor the box of Denosyl I purchased online. I purchased it because it is almost half the price of what our vet charges. Although it is a different brand, it is the very same chemical component as the brand we initially bought at the vet. I asked the vet to be sure because that dog is my baby. The vet approved of the Nutramax Denosyl and confirmed that it was the same chemical component as their brand that they sell. I am happy because this makes it affordable.
has really helped my older scotty - thought she had cushings - similar, but not. this has kept her going, and maintaining her levels very well
Cheapest by far and quick delivery
very good supplement for my dog that had high liver enzymes.
