Denso 234-9014 Air Fuel Ratio Sensor Fits select: 2000-2002 HONDA ACCORD

Local stores want twice the amount I paid with this purchase . The vehicle is a 2002 Honda accords ULEV 2.3 liter F23A4 engine . This was the UPSTREAM A/F ratio sensor Denso part%23 234 - 9014 . Going on the advice of a previous customer whom purchased the same part for the same vehicle ( identical make , model , year and engine ) , I decided to make the purchase as well . After installing , clearing dtc P1166 %26 P1167 , the engine started and the trouble codes did not re-appear . I double checked with the code reader . No dtc and PASS . Haven't driven it yet but plan to soon . After several engine starts , no check engine light and PASS if read for codes . This is the number one reason we change the sensor but do not overlook the fact that fuel economy drops and harm is being done to the catalytic converter . A constant rich command from the pcm due to an inaccurate reading from the A/F ratio sensor is reason enough to replace immediately . Further running the engine and driving should be avoided at all cost . This part %23 234 - 9014 is the correct sensor if you have the ULEV engine 2.3 liter F23A4 or if any engine requires the same sensor . Be sure to use the correct part for any application . Walmart and autoparts and smog supply has the correct part at a good price at today's prices . Anything less may be inadequate or of less quality which will result in improper response with the vehicles on board computer and damage to engine and catalytic converter . An over rich condition is not just harmful to fuel economy , it also causes excess carbon build up within the combustion chamber and engine in general . As expensive as it may be to replace these parts , it's still cheaper than an engine replacement or replacing a car . Walmart.com and auto parts and smog supply worked for me and anyone else who purchased from them .

This was the correct OEM DENSO upstream Air Fuel sensor for my 2002 Honda Accord 4 cylinder ULEV V-TEC F23A4 engine. I installed this sensor and was able to clear the P1167 OBD 2 code and it hasn't returned in 500 miles of driving. Other online shopping sites that offered this sensor at a discounted price would not verify that their sensors were DENSO and not counterfeit parts. Beware of sellers that try to pass off a generic O2 sensor as the correct part because they simply won't work. Your error code will clear at first, but will return within a few miles of driving and you'll continue to get a check engine light (as the original owner of this car found out). You ca trust Walmart to accurately describe and stand behind their merchandise.

Great. Review part in box matches box. 1st item received someone had returned and switched in cheaper sensor. Common problem for these sensors for 01 Accord ULEV because they are expensive. Walmart sent new one and everything worked out
