Hands down the best mineral face sunscreen around, and I've tried A LOT. The texture and finish is perfect. The only thing that would make it better? A higher SPF!!! How about Derma-E? Sun Defense Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50, pretty please???!!!!!!
This sunscreen absorbs well into my skin without any heaviness. It's a good base under makeup. Has a pleasant texture and no strong order like some sunscreens. I would recommend it.
I massage it in until the white cast is gone and it hasn't clogged my pores or disrupted my makeup at all. I am curious to know if the white cast blends away on darker skin tones.
This lotion turns my face white so I have to use a foundation over it. But the lotion pills when I try to put anything on top of it. I like that it's coral safe but not very user friendly.
I really like this sunscreen because of its zinc oxide percentage. The downside is that it does leave a white cast and it starts to break away easily. I have to put it right after my moisturizer or mix it somewhat so it can apply smoothie. I think if there is an improved version of this sunscreen, I will buy another one.
It doesn't look good and the texture is sticky and hard to apply evenly. I bought it once with a different tube and it was better, also the baby sunblock is good, I use it on my eyelids and doesnt burn my eyes. I wont buy it again. I need clear zink without the white chalky film this sunscreen leaves on my face!
I think this product is okay. It comes out a bit runny, yet goes on thicker than I'd like. I was hoping to use it daily but it is too thick when applied to do so. For intermittent use, it is good.
I really enjoy the formula of this sunscreen that I currently use, but, when I went to reorder I noticed that the packaging isn't all that's changed. I'm disappointed Derma E has changed the formula because I liked this as silicone-free sunscreen option.
This product was very dry on my skin and it did not blend in at all. My face was left completely white! I had to wash it off and use another zinc product that blends in much better. Very dissapointed because I love all my other DERMA E products
It appears Derma-E has changed their formula on this product. Now, it leaves a white cast that becomes chalky. Not only does it leave my light olive skin weirdly pale, I can't simply reapply when I need to, I have to wash my face first to remove the crusty chalk. The prior formula didn't do this. I will still use it on my daily morning walks ( I dislike waste) but I can no longer confidently use it under makeup or any time I'm with others. I love Derma-e. I'm so disappointed they've changed this product and the tinted 30 sfp moisturizer.
