this isn't always used for what it is marketed for. Say you are top heavy as a woman and heat can sometimes make you get a rash various places in your bra, usually in the middle, this stuff will help when the weather is hot, especially. It's not a cure it's preventative. Once you have the rash yeast or not, you need the other stuff but this will at least improve matters or perhaps make it less likely given a little shake in the bra before a long day or before sleep at night. If only they made little packets we could just put in there and wear them around.
one of only two fit powder products containing micronazole nitrate, which is essential to killing a bacteria that causes yeast infection in very moist areas. It keeps these areas drier, prevents painful rashes during hot weather when air can't reach areas under belly rolls, folds of skin, or armpits. It's great for athlete'sfoot too. highly recommend it to stay comfortable and pain free.
Adult yeast or diaper rash, probably kids okay as well. It has the lightest of light pleasant smells but not a baby powder smell. Very smooth and adhering! Highly recommended!!!
Many years ago a Dr recommended I use an anti-fungal power daily on the inside of my upper thighs between my legs to keep from getting an itchy rash. I use this almost every day and have not had a problem ever since. I also use it under my breasts on hot sticky days. It's good for more than athletes feet!
The new revised product has a perfume scent, which for severely scent sensitive people could cause asthma attack (I am scent sensitive but not severely). I would prefer the original scent back. My biggest problem is the newer designed cap. It allows too much powder to come out of the bottle even when it is barely tipped to powder an area, therefore wasting a lot of powder. The cap doesn't shut tight, so there is some powder leaking out-even when it looks like it is closed tight. I have only taken off half safety paper seal to try to correct this, but still occurs. The product works well, but I am wasting powder because of the cap design.
I went through 17 pages of "this review was collected as part of a promotion", looking for a "verified purchase" review. I finally gave up. I'm going to purchase this because my father used it many years ago. Do you think that manufacturers know that no one reads the free product reviews because we all know they're bs? If you paid money for it, I would like to know what you think of it. If you got it for free, it's not an unbiased review and I won't waste my time reading it.
I have bought this on and off for a while. I'm plus size and use it under my fat rolls to keep everything dry. It works well to keep away skin infections. However, I got one today and realized the bottle isn't even half full!!! Its way to much to be charged almost $7 for less than half a bottle!! They need to stop making the bottle bigger. It's a waste of plastic and our money.
Didn't work very well...helped a little but not nearly as much as it should have. Also got crumbly and weird with the slightest amount of sweat. Very uncomfortable and gross.
This is not Walmart's fault, but the fault of the company. This under-filled container is deceptive packaging. Even though the package states "sold by weight, not volume" there are consumer protections against what is known as "slack-filled" packaging that is misleading the consumer into thinking they are buying a full container of product. This container of Desenex powder is only filled about 1/3 of the capacity of the container! See the photo of the unopened container. I have complained to the distributor, Crown Laboratories, Inc, but want to alert Walmart of this deceptive product and warn potential buyers to steer clear.
The new dispenser is a poor choice. The narrow flip top clogs and when you tap it the powder releases in a ridiculous amount. The twist open shut bottle was totally usable. No playing with powder stopping a snap lid from sealing. I think the powder may have changed as well. The way it shifts in the bottle when tipping seems to be more like a clump moving than loose powder. If I find another maker with the Miconazol ingredient I will by theres.
