Desert Essence Coconut Hair Defrizzer & Heat Protector, 8.5 fl oz (237 ml)

I use this to detangle and defrizz my hair. I don't use heat on my hair so I don't know how it works as a heat protectant but it works wonderfully for defrizzing! My hair is super fine and tangles easily, which means I have a lot of split ends. I spray this on my ends before I brush my hair and it makes it super soft. My ends don't look frazzled and dry after I use it. I love it!

This product by Desert Essence is great for restoring moisture to my hair. In fact all of the Desert Essence products I have used are wonderful. Their quality and pricing of their products is excellent.

I couldn't tell that this made a difference with styling but i did not build up on my hair no matter how much I used before washing.

smells good, no messy build up, and its a nice size bottle for the $

I am really happy I bought this product . I did use it before I flat iron my my hair and really I was frizz free.and no heat damage after washing my hair.

I have not tried it when straightening my hair yet for protection but it help with frizz and has a great smell!!

I really am a fan of Desert Essence hair products. I use the shampoo and conditioner all the time. Since I dry my hair with a hair dryer regularly I decided to try the hair defrizzer and heat protector. The product worked fine but it seemed to have an unusual smell...almost rancid. All the other Desert Essence merchadise has a great coconut aroma. I don't know if this was a quirky bottle or if this is really the scent. None of the other products (hair and body) are like this. I found it hard to use this bottle and hesitate to buy another..

Not sure if the bottle i received was old/expired, but the fluid smelled terrible. Like musty plastic, definitely not coconut. I love Desert Essence shampoo so I was excited to try this. Despite the smell, I still tried it... I know, strange. I should have taken a picture of how enormously huge and frizzy my hair was upon drying, but I just couldn't do that to myself. I'll just stick with the Renpure coconut detangler (when it's actually available), or just straight up jojoba oil.
