Desert Essence Hand and Body Lotion, Vanilla Chai, 8?Oz

I really don't know where the negative reviews are coming from. The fragrance is wonderful and it moisturizes extremely well. I don't feel at all greasy after applying it. This is my go-to wintertime hand lotion. I prefer the coconut aroma in summer. Good stuff and I highly recommend it!!

I love this lotion for several reasons not the least of which is the fabulous fragrance. When I use it I receive many compliments for the scent's flavor as well as it being delicate. This is a long lasting fragrance as well as long lasting feel.

I use alot of Dessert Essence Hand and Body Lotions. This fragrance is "a little bit of heaven" for me. It is probably my fav.

This is my favorite lotion. It smells wonderful. The ingredients are not toxic. It is nice and creamy and rubs in well, not too heavy or too oily.

I love Desert Essence but was still wowed by this lotion! It smells amazing but is not overpowering. It helps hands stay soft even in the dry summers and winters of a very arid climate. Buy two or three - not just one like I did!

it does have a nice scent. but this is all it has to offer. i suppose it's hard to make an all-natural cream, i don't know. maybe it's as good as it gets. nevertheless... it's greasy. it doesn't get absorbed at all. it leaves greasy film, after you wipe off the excess. it does nothing for moisturizing in the long run. nothing at all. I only use it because of its nice soothing scent, so it's more of an aroma therapy item for me, hence 3 stars in overall rating.

This hand cream smells like a food-drink product. While the cream absorbs and makes my skin smooth, my olfactory sense is saying, "You smell like a big cup of chai tea." Some people may find this OK. I would rather have a floral, spice or herb fragrance that was not straight from the kitchen.

I have used Desert Essence body lotion in the past and absolutely loved it. However, this particular one left my hands greasy requiring me to rinse my palms with water and pat dry so not to leave a film on anything I touched. The fragrance I found mild and welcoming but unfortunately that was about it. I did not find this lotion to leave my hands feeling moisturized at all. In addition the natural brown coloring to the lotion left my white sheets stained when applied prior to bed. I had such high hopes for this lotion but it did not meet my needs in a body lotion.

Smell awful and it's way to greasy. Bad choice.

I really liked this product before they updated it and gave it a new fragrance which to me smells like rubbing alcohol or fingernail polish remover. It had a nice fragrance before as other reviewers noted but due to the new fragrance I won't buy this again.
