Design.Me Bounce.Me Curl Balm - 8.5 oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the controlled shine this gives my curls and it holds shape wonderfully! The smell is pleasant and not at all too strong, and the hold is gentle (unless you oversaturate), so it looks natural and brings out the best of your hair.

Sometimes I use it alone to style my hair, and other times I use it layered with a gel. It leaves my hair soft, manageable, and with defined curls. I wouldn't use anything else.

My first thought was "crunchy?. . . what are we. . . in the 80's?" but the crunch doesn't hang around long enough to ruin your life. . . . it serves to control your curls as they are forming, and once my hair was dry I applied a bit of finishing oil and Voila!. Will I get this again? Definitely. Some curls need a little taming!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hairstylist used this product on me, and it worked so well, and produced such gorgeous curls, that I went out and bought my own! I pair it with the curl spray gel and it works wonders on my normally wavy and frizzy hair.

Been using this for years. I use it for wash days, refresh, and slick backs. It provides great hold without being stiff or crunchy. It's not the best in high humidity, so I pair it with the ouidad advanced humidity gel for the Florida humidity. Will definitely continue using this as a staple.

I had really curly/coily hair and after an illness and menopause my curls were gone and my hair became barley wavy. After trying this balm my curls started coming back. With each use the curls stared to tighten. They are now bouncy, shinier and more hydrated than ever. I get so many compliments on my hair since I started using it. I recommend it to all my curly haired friends. Thank you Design Me!

Provides lasting hold and some definition on my type 4 hair. Dries nicely without any residue if used on it’s own.

I love what it did to shape my curl, but I did not care for the cast it left behind. Even when I scrunched it to break the cast, it still left my hair feeling kind of heavy

Does not smell like the old formula nor does it smooth the way it used to. My hair has shown more frizz after use, instead of smoothing the way the old formula did. I wish they would return to the old formula! Change the packaging NOT the product! So disappointed. When i originally found the other formula, my curls were bouncy and soft, now not so much.
