I've only been using this for a few days, but so far it seems like it's at least helping to curb the barking. time will tell as to how well. it takes a few hours to fully charge, and the flashlight is kinda dim, but it does work. overall it seems like a handy little gadget.

This deterrent device came well packaged and already charge and ready for use. I have two small chihuahua mixes that love to bark when they hear trucks go by or any other reason really. I pushed the button and they both stopped immediately and looked at me with ears at attention. My older one didn't like it and scurried off under the bed. I don't like that it scared him but he is 11 yrs old and doesn't like to be startled. The other dog just kept his eye on me and forgot about barking. So it definitely worked. I will use it sparingly. I think for less skittish dogs it would be great too as I don't think they scare so easily. Simple to use and I can see it will come in handy for many people. I was shocked as I heard nothing but they sure did. It comes with usb charger also so that is handy. (No batteries) I think it is a good buy and confirm it does its job quickly as stated.

I have almost 27 dogs that I'm working with and this device has been a life saver. It's a great training tool but only if you know how to use it. I only use for correction, not as a bark stopping aid. Some dogs are more sensitive than others, and it can cause trauma if used incorrectly. It really is a great training aid for a lot of dogs.

Mia the Boston, is a typical Boston Terrier. They all love to be miniature guard dogs and alert you to everything. Especially in our vehicles, we call her Mia the car alarm! Sometimes it can be a bit much, so we got this great anti-barking sound machine. It emits a high-pitched noise that makes her stop barking and look around like what is that sound? The instructions say to say "Quiet" when you activate it so dogs learn to stop barking and understand what the word "Quiet" means. It's crazy how it works, but it actually does! The dog stopped doing whatever we didn't want him doing, as soon as he heard the high pitched sound from the controller. It didn't hurt his ears or anything, just got his attention as if you were letting the air out of a balloon from the mouthpiece real slow. He turned his head left and right trying to figure out where it was coming from and what I was doing. I didn't use it at distance, only in my home. I have used these in the past and they do work outside longer distances…like to silence your neighbors dog in the middle of the night. 😏

I tested this out on my dogs when they were sleeping- just a quick little tap of the button- and it quickly got their attention! I think this will be perfect to keep by the front door to make them stop barking when we come in from work or have visitors. The flashlight is also pretty bright. You just have to pay attention to which button you are pushing since they are so close together.

Was tired of the neighbors dog constantly barking everytime I was in my backyard. I seen this and decided to give it a try. I was skeptical due the price. As long as you get within range of the device it seems to work okay. The dog didn't appear to be in any pain, only spooked. Hopefully I can go back to a quiet, peaceful backyard.

This product seems to either not work as desired of it just doesn't work on my beagle. I'm not too keen on it anyways as there are a lot of warnings. I wouldn't recommend this. I will keep trying but, I'm just not liking this. I think there are probably better ways of training.

Received this to help control the constant dog barking that takes place outside my apartment. Sometimes it will last over an hour with one or more dogs barking. Unfortunately this device says you must be within 1 meter of the dog for it to work. Plus it says some dogs will not even react to it. Perhaps it works best as a training tool instead of an overall deterrent.
