Detroit Axle - Front Brake Kit for Honda Accord Acura CL Brake Rotors Ceramic Brakes Pads Replacement: 10.22" Front Rotors

The brake kit showed up a couple of days early but upon opening the box I discovered that the pads were contaminated with a punctured grease packet that was in the same box %26 when I took them to the repair shop they would not install them due to the damaged condition. I called Detroit Axle %26 explained what had happened %26 they offered to send me another set of pads to arrive on Friday. They finally arrived on Tuesday %26 when I inspected this new set the same thing occurred; grease on the two pads facing upward. It appeared that they put the pads, placed in a plastic package, then put the grease pack on top %26 then put a package of sharp metal clips on top. Everything shifts around during shipping %26 the metal clips cut through it's packaging %26 then the grease packet %26 finally the plastic covering the brake pads, contaminating the product. All they needed to do was put the clips %26 greas packet on opposite sides of the brake pads %26 maybe some packing material to prevent the parts from shifting around during the journey. I was able to use 2 pads from the first shipment %26 2 from the second set that were not damaged with the the grease %26 have them installed. However it required multiple trips to the shop %26 an extra appointment %26 phone calls which would not have been necessary if the products were packed properly the first time. The whole experience wasted a lot of time %26 materials that could have easily been avoided had Detroit Axle properly trained their shipping department.
