most powerful electric blower you can buy to date

Builder1 October 25, 2023

love the power and ease of use . you can do quick small things in seconds and its clean and has no smell , had this unit about 2 years now it is by far the best electric blower you can buy . its twice as powerful as the Milwaukie , it blows away small gas blowers . you want the best ? you want to blow small sticks , pine cones , pine needles , wet leaves well you can . i like the air intake instead of to the side , its mid allowing you to get right up to things on both sides . i own and work with a lot of tools . i highly recommend this unit , but most people will want a second or fourth battery . I have 7 batteries and can run most of the day with 2 speed chargers going and a lunch break but this unit is power hungry , it took me two and a half 9ah batteries to blow my driveway , walks and yard after the first storm of the year a day ago .

Best Blower I've Ever Owned

JHalb89 June 27, 2019

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After messing around with a neighbors, I went out and purchased my own. Best battery powered blower I've ever used. Love that it is FlexVolt compatible because I own a few other tools. Can't wait to make my next purchase!

SHOCKING

Calhoun April 22, 2021

I received this as a Christmas present. I went right out and bought 2 extra batteries. Blows light snow away very quickly. Every time I use it, I get a shock. This is the only negative complaint I have. Extremely short run time with a fully charged battery. Takes 2 hours to charge and 20 minutes to drain.

Great blowing power very short battery life

Heffy4 October 25, 2020

I bought this axle blower last week the blowing power is excellent the battery life is terrible worst battery life of any dewalt product that I own. After paying the high price for this blower people should not have to go out and buy a better battery for it . Dewalt should replace the battery with a 12 or at least a 9 AMP 60 V battery...

batteries lack longevity!

nigel June 15, 2019

Blows with strength, however, the batteries do not last long enough for a small single job. Lucky that I have a spare 60v battery to get my ‘minimal' job done. I don't understand why these batteries DO NOT HAVE more juice to power this blowing machine!

Good Blower

kais November 24, 2019

Previously used a corded blower (Toro Red). In my new much larger yard (1/4 acre lot), with 4 mature trees I needed to go cordless just to keep having to unsnag the extension cord everywhere. This pushes leaves better and is much quieter. The variable speed trigger is a life saver over other trigger types, and it's balanced and handles well. This last weekend I finally put it through the test (had done some light blowing here and there and was satisfied). This weekend, we bagged 12+ full landscape trash bags of leaves from the yard. Listen to the reviews that this thing eats batteries. Unless you have multiple FlexVolt batteries, you will be disappointed. I have 1x 3Ah, and 2x 2Ah FlexVolt batteries and that wasn't enough to finish my yard (got ~90% of the way there). The 3Ah was charged up enough while I was using the 2x 2Ah that I was able to finish the yard that way, so it works very well for me. That said, if you have batteries, this guy is a joy to use. Low noise, low vibration, low weight, well balanced, variable speed trigger, and moves a ton of air and leaves. I don't have the 20V version to compare, but according to the specs this moves quite a bit more air. That said, unless you have some FlexVolt batteries to complement this guy, I'd stick with the 20V.

Shocks every time.

Dewalt lover November 29, 2019

I bought this a month ago and I love the power of the blower, but unfortunately it shocks very badly all the time (every 20 or 30 seconds). I think this is a big issue and Dewalt needs to pay attention on this since so many people are having the same issue.

Drains battery quick, Shocks consistantly

diy user August 9, 2020

I bought this after having a great experience with my father's 20v blower (previous model). It drained the battery after about a 20 minute use and shocked me consistantly, in all conditions, dry, humid, and with/without gloves. I returned the blower.

Poor Quality

Albertan April 15, 2021

I bought this in 2020 and used it infrequently (mainly for clearing light dry snow in the winter - mainly difficult to clear areas such as stairs). It worked well until the blower stopped working. Brought it into the repair center and found out the electronics were fried. 2 months later I received a new one, but the new one does not put out the claimed 600cfm or 125mph gust at all. Will now have to return this 2nd new unit to the repair center and hope I'll get a new functional unit back. Glad for the warranty, but very disappointed with the consistent quality issues. In addition, per other reviews, the battery life is disappointing (probably 10-15 minutes at max power and less if cold outside).

Never Worked

Anonymous October 22, 2019

Brought this product home, fully charged new battery, used once and it began to fail after a few minutes. Fully charged battery to try again. Ran for about 30 seconds. Dead. Time for a replacement or my money back. Time to see how good DeWalt's promises are.
