cant get it to pump any water out
Our Ski Club (Craigleith Ski Club) purchased 4 of these backpack sprayers at the start of the last ski season. We use them to dye the Blue Lines along the race courses. One however developed a leak at the bottom of the pack, on further investigation the split/crack was found on plastic adaptor at the thread and the locator plate. I went to the site looking for replacement parts but could not find any. Tried different ways to repair all to no avail, I will need the complete Adaptor, both Lock Nuts and the Metal Flow Union with "O Rings" that goes to the hose.
I'm having the same problem as PieterLou the rubber elbow that comes from the pump is leaking. I have not been able to find that part anywhere. Need the part and the one metal clamp kept the one for the other end it was plastic.
I had the sprayer 14 months, 2 months past warranty, used maybe a total of 4 months, really liked it. It looks and sounds like the pump motor got hot and melted a pump part, motor is squeaking when I turn it by hand. I am trying to find a replacement pump and I can't find a parts list.
1. After about 6 months the sprayer started leaking from the bottom after I put it on maximum pressure.....2. the 20V battery did not want to charged after it was completely drained.3. Although it is still under warranty I needed it urgently to spray for weeds and decided I will do my own repairs. However, could not find any parts online...The elbow coming from the pump sprung a leak under pressure..(marked on the photos..)
It worked great when I bought it. Loved it! Until it started leaking pesticides on my leg. I'll leave a picture of the part that is leaking.
Shut off valve is leaking. I have 3 different items replaced which have same problem. After several uses shutOff valve starts leaking. There is no way to repair issue, since handle is not maintainable. It has solid mold and handle cover. No way to fix it. I have replaced item twice and 3 one i did used once last year and it got broken immediately this year first use.
Major leak out of the bottom of the unit even before full pressure is fully reached - after 3 uses! Another reviewer had the same issue and looks like an internal leak. Very disappointed.
would not prime or spray, followed all the instructions/advice to get it to prime.
Bought this backpack last summer to spray for bugs/scorpions and weeds.. Used it for less than 3 hours on our 1 acre property.. Fired it up today to spray winter weeds and spontaneously started LEAKING OUT THE BOTTOM and dripping poison all over my back and legs!!! What the heck??? This thing practically brand new!!!! ?????? Very disappointing after paying a premium price for a sub-par product :(
