DEWALT 20V MAX 3-Speed Oscillating Tool Kit

I lost a tool box off my truck and with it my Milwaukee oscillating saw. I hated to switch brands because of batteries but it was worth it! The DeWalt is a better tool. Blade changing is so much easier that it's reason enough to buy this one but the variable speed start is another huge plus. I use it all the time and I love it. It took a while for me to write a review so I'm saying this after 6 months of buying it.

One of the most important tools when it comes to work, work in the construction and remodeling of houses and the truth yesterday these tools are very useful, powerful, versatile. I use it in Sheetrock, plumbing, carpentry, electricity in almost everything and it is very resistant.

I bought this oscillating tool around a month ago and this is an honest review not paid or sponsored or anything of that matter! This tool is wonderful the sanding attachment is really great the blades are not the best but definitely better than most blades you would get with a purchase pack all in all this was a great purchase and I would recommend any dewalt product to people, really great and honest company! Another multi purpose tool made by Dewalt that everyone should have. I've used it for cutting drywall to install outlets, trimming drywall or wood for doors or sanding. This tool is lightweight, powerful and comes in handy for many different projects.

The tool features an exclusive Tool-Free System for faster accessory changes and adjustments, without the need for wrenches or hex keys. The Mode Selector switch allows you to select from 3 speed limiting modes. There is also a trigger Lock On/Off button. This button locks the tool “on” when you need it to run for extended periods, such as when sanding a large surface. Scrapers, carbide rasps, and cutting blades: Accessories such as blades, can be mounted at an angle for cutting in confined spaces. There is a large assortment of blades available, depending on the material you're working with: wood with nails, hardwoods, wood detail, semi-circle blades, carbide grout removal blade, etc. The tool comes with a universal adapter, which allows the usage of non-DEWALT tool accessories. Sanding: A diamond shaped platen uses a hook and loop adhesion system to attach the sanding sheets. The platen allows you to use it on large flat surfaces as well as tight spots and corners. Other: The tool kit comes in a sturdy DEWALT tool bag with all the accessories, battery and charger, and a detailed instruction manual. DEWALT also includes a unique depth/cut guide arm, which fastens to the tool. This allowed me to precisely cut material at selected depths and aids when tracking a marked cut line on your materials. Another feature that I found helpful, is the embedded LED worklight. It does a great job illuminating the working area in front of the tool. Warranty: The tool is covered by a three-year limited warranty. Uses and Feedback: While using the tool on various projects, I found that it had no problems with the following types of tasks: mortar and grout removal from a bathroom shower surround, sanding large areas such as a bedroom door and small areas like hardwood floor planks and the top of a bedside table. The variable speed oscillation is handy for cutting various types of materials including PVC pipe, thin metal stock, door jams, hardwood flooring, 2x4's, and even small branches on trees in the yard. The variable speed trigger is large and comfortable. I found that limiting the tool speed in certain applications, minimized the possibility of damage to my work surfaces and allowed me to cut with enhanced precision. Usage tips: Use clamps to secure and support work materials to a stable platform, as this is the best way that I found to free both hands for the most accurate cuts and sanding quality. Do not force the tool to cut through materials, as this decreases blade life and unnecessarily stresses the tool. Wait for the tool to stop moving before setting it down or standing it on end. When utilizing the tool to plunge cut holes in drywall, I found that maintaining a very slow cutting speed allowed for precise cuts and prevented the blade from skipping along the face of the drywall. I recommend this tool for both personal DIY and professional usage.

I would with no doubt tell everyone how powerfull and reliable the tool is, also the quality is amazing.

The power and versatility are beyond compare. When it came in I had some doubt as to how effective it was and now I am thrilled with this quality product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used it for cutting out cedar in a screen porch that needed to be replaced. Very sturdy tool with plenty of power. I like that there is 3 speeds for more control. The variable speed trigger is nice, you can start slower and then speed up when needed without switching buttons. Only drawback I see is fatigue holding trigger for longer timed cuts. I had to use a bigger battery then the 2.0 that was included to keep running the tool longer. I'm sure the sanding pad will be nice once I get the chance to use it. The quick blade change feature is awesome. If you need to change angle of your blade it makes it really quick and effortless to do so.
