THIS IS A VERY GOOB BATTERY THAT HAS PLENTY OF POWER AND HOLDS A CHARGE VERY WELL.

Most days this one battery lasts all day, even on heavy use days only change once on impact or screw guns

I have two of these batteries and use them on several of my DeWalt tools and have been very impressed with the power and longevity of the battery. I have used them with my impact drill, hand grinding we, and a 3rd party 6” chain saw and I rarely have to stop and charge the batteries before completing a job. I also found converters for my B@D tools and am able to use them with great success. Compared to other makers, the DeWalt batteries are far more superior.

Worked well until it just died. Lasted a few months past the warranty expiration. I'.m having my doubts about the Dewalt batteries. Love the tools but the batteries are inconsistent.

ive been using dewalt for more that 10 years and had nothing but good comments to say but ive been having issues with 1 60v dying in less than a year and now my 5 amp dying after 3 months(less than 12 charges). Wonder if I should start converting to another brand if they dont fix the problem.

Decided to switch over to Dewalt for battery compatibility and purchased extra batteries. One died after a couple of charges. For the most part I am happy but to have something fundamental as a battery issue ruin Dewalt dependability and my confidence I might think twice about the next tool I buy. These batteries should be recalled.

DCF899+DCB115 charger+DCB205 5AH all new, tried to loose four 10mm bolts (wrench size 14mm) of Honda front engine mount, two cannot loose after WD40 used. In seconds the battery might be in protection mode - delay led lid - thus limit the DCF899's torque.

I bought a Dewalt grass trimmer. It is a great tool. I purchased 2 lithium 5 ah batteries to go with it. What a disappointment. The first summer it worked great. I could run at least 30 minutes on a charge. This summer, I might get 10 minutes. I have the old XRP nicad batteries for my hand tools. I bought them 8 years ago, and they are still going strong. Incredible. I bought the adapter to put the lithium batteries in the tools, thinking it would be a great upgrade to use them. Wrong. What a waste of money. I will not be buying any more Dewalt tools that use lithium batteries. I will use my nicads as long as I can, and if they die, I will be looking for another brand. This sucks.

This is the third battery that quit working in less than a year. Get battery tools that have a better warranty on their batteries. If I did not have every Dewalt tool I would change to another brand.
