Just opened. Excited to use this weekend. Just another DeWalt 20V tool to add to the others. I've been very happy with all my other DeWalt 20V tools, driver, power ratchet.
Automotive Technician here. Have one of these i use on almost everything. Tons of power. Had to buy snap on 3/8 drive bit for it because it snaps them periodically and snap on warranties them.
I've had this impact for a year+ and it's never failed me, been used for both mechanics work and construction/carpentry. Has worked great for all applications. Appreciate how the power doesn't fade as the charge decreases, it stays strong right up to the end. Only thing is I wish it had a charge indicator on the battery or impact. Other than that unnecessary detail it has been great. Highly recommend for a low cost but reliable and powerful impact.
Another amazing product use this one everyday on the job sight as well great for breaking down radiators and has an amazing resistance to water
I've had this impact for a couple of years now, and have put it through everything with being a union carpenter. Works great and have had no trouble whatsoever so ever. Great drill. Thanks dewalt
Bought this last year, for use at home and side job works great never let me down!
I've had this kit over a year at this point and have been really impressed with it. I've built a deck with it, run all kinds of screws in various renovations, and even used it for several automotive tasks with a socket adapter. The power is frankly shocking for a 1/4" gun of this price point, I was not expecting it to be able to remove shock tower bolts or lugnuts. My one gripe is I wish it had a speed selector.
I have two. The first one lasted about 3 years using it everyday (carpentry, electrical, plumbing). After about 3 years it works intermittently. That means I cant use it at all.Its just sitting on tye shelf. The second one is about 6 years old and still going strong.
for the price point of this impact driver, it has been extremely reliable in the work setting. the led light is great on it aswell.
Bought almost a year ago, daily use as an electrician. Nothing heavy, mostly wood screws, tightening wires in boxes, and occasional spade bits to make 1/2-3/4” holes in studs. Always use with a 5A battery. After 6 months the motor started turning at half speed, brought it in, was replaced. Now less than 6 months later same issue. Have had 3-4 dewalt drills before, never had this issue. When it worked it was great, light, quick, plenty of power for the applications needed, chuck holds and releases bit well. Disappointed that this model has let me down twice in its first year.
