Dewalt 20V Max XR Li-Ion Cordless Brushless Handheld Blower

This beast is more than a leaf blower. It's brushless which is awesome. Has an easy lock. Stand is great. I use this to blow dust and saw dust out of my shop. Wrong time of the year for leaves but I know that it will do great at that due to its performance so far. It also works great for blowing dirt off of my front porch. But the thing I love the most about this is blowing string through pipe super fast you would probably have to be an electrician to understand when you have no luck with a fish tape this power house has saved the day more than once. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm using the tool for a few days and I'm really enjoying it. It is not a heavy tool, comfortable to use, besides having a beautiful designed is a very strong blower. Pro: - It is not a heavy tool, even using flexvolt batteries you can still use it with just one hand. - you can keep it on without holding the button, trigger lock itself is very interesting. - it doesn't make much noise, 80 to 85 dB inside, 85 to 90 dB outside. - strong blower - cleans very well, the wind gap is big, helps a lot in cleaning basement, garages, driveways. - for short cleaning the battery lasts all day. - works with 20v batteries and flexvolt batteries Cons: - continuous use consumes the battery very quickly, around 14 minutes with 6ah flexvolt battery and around 8 minutes using 4ah 20v battery. - has no speed control, but this is not a big problem because it can be done by controlling the button tightening. - only has a nozzle, maybe if it had more nozzle options it would be good to increase or decrease the blowing area. Comparing the pros and cons this is a great blower option, it will not disappoint you working.

It blows a lot of air, and quite well! The only downside is battery life, about 10 minutes on a 5A battery. But then again, you have to make a choice between power and battery life, you can have one or the other, but not both. Myself, I'm glad they went with power because a low power blower is next to useless. When the battery gets low, swap it out, take a sip of coffee, and back to work!

Bought this a year ago before winter started and I use it to clean driveways off after mowing and clean light snow buildup on a vehicle! Works amazing

Though Walmart is not quite as fast as Amazon when it comes to shipping however, not to shabby. Had I selected a nearby Walmart to my zip code, shipping might have been faster…alas..am I bad? One disquieting observation. Upon opening the plain brown box that Walmart shippers used to ship the DeWalt blower in, I found just the blower with the instructions and disassembled. There were no DeWalt packaging. Now I've purchased many Dewalt tools from various vendors but never have I received a DeWalt product without DeWalt packaging. It was as though I purchased an “open box” item and paid full retail price without a discount even offered. In closing, never mind attempting to speak to a “live person” using Walmarts website for assistance. NOT happening!

Going on 3 years using this at home. Had one at work for about that long as well. It's not the strongest blower in the lineup, but it's great for a homeowner that plans to use it for light leaves and grass clippings. I swap a 5ah battery once every 2 mows, roughly. I've dropped this thing from heights and crammed it into truck boxes hundreds of times. Never had one fail as of yet.

Bought product more than 2 years ago, Very good for quick jobs and excellent for blowing off a patio or gutters in roof! Bigger jobs would require more than a 5amp hour battery. Make sure you store this inside in a dry area, mine was stored under the patio with humidity and it was not friendly to it after 3 years.

My 722B blower worked great for about 8 months then one day it stopped working. No reason. Then magically started to work again. Worked fine for about 5 months more and then quit! 13 months of ownership. Was told by Dewalt service center that cost would be very close to replacement value to repair. This is after I was told by their service call centre it would be a free repair. Very disappointed. What is the point of a 3 year limited warranty? Traveled an hour to the service center each way too! Purchased this unit because of the compatibility with all my other Dewalt tools. Unit worked great with a 5 amp hour battery. Initially happy when I first got the unit, but not so much now!

Battery life even with 6Ah batteries is horrible. To blow leaves in my very small yard requires at least 3 batteries to complete. Also power is very weak so value here is not very good

I shopped several stores for this exact item. They all came in a Dewalt box, batery, and charger. This item came in no Dewalt box, no batery, or charger. How do they expect someone to operate it without a batery? It almost looks as if it were a refurbished item. Would not recommend to anyone.
