DeWalt 3 lb. Steel Drilling Hammer 8-3/4" Fiberglass Handle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have you ever looked at a dog, maybe a pitbull or a mastiff and just thought "that's all muscle"? Well, That's this hammer. It's compact, well balanced and has a great swing. the grip is nice and comfortable and when you hit something with it it stays hit. The patterned face is nice for breaking things, the flat face is nice for hitting things that you don't want to hit with a contoured face. I have discovered that unlike Mjolnir it will not come when summoned, but my workshop is small, so that's not too big a deal. might be a bigger issue on large jobsites.

A little short. About 4 inches short in length to land a balanced hit.

This 3lb Fiberglass Drilling Hammer is everything you want out of a hammer. It's big and bold! The handle is very comfortable and it's a well balanced hammer. This hammer works well as a mini sledge hammer. It has two faces for use on various materials. The length of the handle seems a bit short and would allow more leverage when swinging if the handle were the length of a framing hammer. Overall is a good tool!
