The first thing I noticed was the ergonomics of the handle. Very comfortable, easy to grip with the ability to choke up on it with out sacrificing the fantastic grip. In addition, this thing is light! Be that as it may, there is no sacrifice in strength. It is rated for 880 thousand strike cycles so, swing away! I used it to staple chicken wire to the rim joist of my shop to prevent critters from getting underneath. It was effortless compared to using my conventional manual stapler. No squeezing just plain ole swinging. It is front drop in loading and accepts 5/16”, 3/8” or ½” staples. The label on the tacker has specs for 3 brands of staples which makes it convenient, no fumbling around for the instructions. In addition, it has a pinch latch and is anti-jamming and anti-locking. Overall, this is my new go to tacker, I really am impressed with how light and comfortable it is which no doubt will reduce fatigue. I highly recommend this for your tool box. When I first saw this Hammer Tacker made of Carbon Fiber I said wow!! This is like having a piece of an Aircraft Material #787! Is super lightweight, and less effort to tack, as fast as you want, your joint will be pleased, once you used it you won't go back to the old heavy one. Works great, awesome grip, easy to load , so far I haven't had any issues. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I've gone through a few of these over the years and this is the first one that is heavy enough to put through a hard days work, and isn't so heavy that I feel like I've been swinging a hammer all day. Also like the fact that it will handle the 3 most common sizes of staples. Good buy if your in the market. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This is a welcome addition to my toolbox. I roofed the backside of a customers house on friday due to a tree falling and used this for the first time. It feels good in my hand and performed as expected. A few of my guys had there eye on it. May need to get a few more a christmas gifts. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
For many years have been using an electric stapler that worked good, but had to hold very tight against the wood too make sure the staples would seat all the way in. Got very hard on the hand when had many staples to use! Used the new hammer tracker to apply fabric to the wooden seats of some ice cream chairs and it worked excellent. A lot easier on my hand! Can't wait to use to install insulation at my daughter's house. Very solidly made!!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
It's lighter, faster and more durable what's not to love. I put this slapper threw its paces and I'm in love "don't tell my girlfriend". After just one day of use on a roof or anywhere else you will feel the difference ... Great Tool !!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Bought 2 of these hammer staplers and not happy at all with them, made so cheap and don't even staple good.... DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT should have bought 2 new arrow staplers instead..
i do hvac so I use the “slap hammer” for Hanging ductwork. It worked great. Then climbing out of the attic I dropped it about 4-5 feet juggling stuff comeing down the ladder .. bam explodes into prices clip shooters out staples shoot out . It was the first time I'd ever used it. The metal ones would never of broke from that so . Carbon fibers equals plastic hammer . I thought it's would be stronger
I bought this with high hopes and for 3 weeks it worked great. Now I can only use half a row of staples because the other half gets stuck under the slide. I spend more time unjamming it than tacking. I can't take it apart to figure out the problem. Total watt fastest of good money. Next time I'll just throw my money out the window.
Jams more than they used too. Something needs to be done to fix it
