It has good weight and balance. The impact is really reduced from the handle. I had an older and similar hammer with a wooden handle, this hammer works circles around it. I am very impressed with this hammer and highly recommend. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This is a great additional to our fleet of hammers. The perfectly distributed weight helps with pounding stakes or nail pins into the ground. The concentrated strike force on the rounded side makes breaking up concrete or block a breeze! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I never thought I would ever being writing a review on a hammer, but I was really impressed with this hammer. I'm a welder / fabricator so I am working with steel and this hammer absorbs all the vibration that comes with hitting thick steel. The other great feature is that one side of the hammer head is flat and the other is slightly rounded witch is great for breaking up bricks or concrete. This has now become my go to hammer. Hammer has a great grip. Allowed me to strike with precision. I was able to hammer 40 stakes into the ground with ease compared to the regular sledge we used to use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I really like the hammer. It's a very balanced swing in the hammer. It strikes everything very well, and the handle is very comfortable yet ridged. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
The hammer works well and gets the job done. The power head works but I am not use too it. I'm having a bit of difficulty heating the steel post with it. It really does work when I want to move a board around but when trying to hit the head of the post it slips off. Overall it is a great hammer and I think when I learn how to use the power head it will be an excellent hammer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I do a lot of mason work such as repairs and brand install of pavers and it's strike head is perfect to break up and stone or concrete block with very little vibration. So far so good. Dewalt makes quality. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Hammer is a great small sledge hammer. I own a construction company and we have it with us on every job. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
