What a great little machine, just enough torque to provide a great finish without the worry of burning through the clearcoat finish. Bought this kit a few weeks ago and used it for the first time after I re-painted my car's front bumper, after color sanding the clearcoat to remove the orange peal, the buffer did a great job of giving the paint a mirror like finish with compound. Going to clay bar and compound the rest of the car's paint and then re-apply glaze and sealant with this buffer in the coming weeks. Just waiting for the car's front bumper paint to cure. If you decide to buy this buffer and the accessories, you won't be disappointed.
Bought a few months ago and been using as a weekend warrior. This is awesome, I love it. Some vibrations that get old, but for the price I have no complaints. Its almost impossible to burn through paint, and with a yellow pad, I have no issues with wet sanding and polishing fresh paint.
I purchased this kit a couple weeks ago, I have a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze daily driver and hated the feeling of the rough factory clear coat and i want to protect the paint for year to come, so i purchased this as well as a few other items and now my new car looks better than new. I started with: 1) Medium clay and luber kit 2) Wet mirror finish glaze applied by the Porter Cable 7424xp 3) M-Seal sealant applied by the Porter Cable 7424xp 4) Pure 3x Hardcore wax applied by hand My car looks Fantastic!!!! I have a 2012 Malibu and a 2002 Yukon Denali that i will be using this on for sure!!
One of my cars had crazy clear coat damage and the extreme compound took it off. My other car had scratches like Edward Scissorhands washed it 100 times. The extreme compound removed those as well. I tried 2 other brands scratch and swirl remover and they didn't work
Has everything you need to perfect your paint! (Minus the polish of your choice, of course) I first used this on a SORELY neglected 1999 Wrangler, the results were outstanding and it was my first time using a machine. Very user friendly, the pad cleaner and luber are GREAT additions! Made working with the cutting polish a breeze! The pads are also of amazing quality, still look brand new after some heavy use. The included towels are decent enough quality, but not my favorite. For what you get at this price, they are basically free anyway so I'm not complaining. Overall, this is the best deal to get into polishing and machine application of waxes/sealants!
This is by far the best kit available for beginners and seasoned detailers alike. This kit is great for beginners as this polisher is very safe. It's nearly impossible to damage your paint with this polisher. It's a little slower than the high dollar units, but you can destroy your paint in very quickly with them if you don't know what your doing. This kit comes with everything needed except for the polish. The pads that come in this kit are of the highest quality.
I bought the Porter Cable kit and bought the polishing products. I have to say, WAY beyond expectations. I have never used a buffer before in my life and this was super easy with the online videos from the website. I have a 2010 Yukon Denali XL that has never had any kind of treatment like these products give. I had swirl marks everywhere from taking it to the car wash and using the brush along with having a dirty wash mit. I used only your typical wash wax Combo products and it was clean....but not like this. I started in the hood with the level 32 and worked my way all the way up to the polish and it is amazing. Swirl marks are gone and the shine is unbelievable. Hard to tell it is a 2010.
I trust Chemical guys for all of my detailing needs. A must have if you have black vehicles. Take the time and watch their YouTube tutorials. They have one for every product they sell. It's hard to get it wrong with these guys.
Purchased this along with Chemical Guys V32, V34, V36 and V38, plus a sealant to detail two vehicles that have swirl marks and scratches. One vehicle down, one to go, with amazing results!
I bought this about a month ago and I should have looked closer at the contents of the kit. I thought I was getting a "Complete" kit, well it's not exactly complete. You need to buy the liquid Polish separately. So when it arrived I was disappointed that I couldn't do anything with it. I had to order polish and wait for it to arrive. Anyway, I now have everything I need and it all works really good. I'm pleased with the results.
